2. Type of shots I am going to use
• Close-up- Protagonist’s face showing his defiance against the threat that they are
facing. Also various close-ups of their terror of being involved with the situation that
they are in.
• Over the shoulder- To put the situation of the protagonists into the target audience’s
perspective.
• Establishing shots- Establishing shots of abandoned buildings to signify the destruction
that the infection has caused and to connote the environment that the protagonists
have to survive in.
• Low-angle shot- Bandits attacking the protagonists signifying their dominance in the
scene.
• Mid-shot- Protagonists with props such as weapons and food to connote that they are
prepared to face the challenges ahead.
• Tracking shot- Of the infected’s feet to indicate that the enemy is always around ready
to attack.
• Pan- Of the surrounding area being empty to signify how alone the protagonists are
which emphasise their innocence.
3. Type of shots I am going to use cont.
• POV Shot- Shot of one of the protagonists looking around a building to check if it is
safe to create a sense of tension between the target audience and the protagonist and
feel what they are feeling.
• Two shot- The two main protagonists standing together which signifies that they are
prepared to fight together as well as survive together.
• High-angle shot- To signify the protagonist’s innocence within the hopelessness of the
setting that they are in.
• Tilt- Camera moves up and to show bandits to signify how dangerous and superior they
are compared to the protagonists.
