biosimilar products.

In October 2012, Fidelity Growth Partners India invested Rs 400 crore in Trivitron, a Global
Medical Technology company of Indian Origin.
Exports
Value of Export of Indian Drugs, Pharmaceuticals and Fine chemicals has risen from Rs 12,826
crore in 2002 to Rs 47,551 crore in 2011.
Government Incentives
Government of India has dispensed Rs 205 crore as scholarships for women scientists. The
scholarships were given under the Women Scientists Scholarship Scheme (WSSS), Ministry of
Science and Technology, reportedly in December 2012.
Association for Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE) and Washington Biotechnology &
