influence us to be drawn to things, places and
PEOPLE that are more like us!

What are Hidden Biases?
Hidden Biases are our unconscious attitudes towards
certain groups!
Type in the link below. Click “Exercises and

and take a moment to complete the Race and
Gender test!

prevent microaggressions from occuring in your
class.

We all have unconscious biases and at some point
have had an experience with microaggressions.
Often, these behaviors are a result of our
upbringing or what’s considered the norm at our
home.
Are your beliefs and attitudes a result of what your
family believes? Friends?

members, administrators, teachers and staff all
bring different attitudes and beliefs that create our
School Culture and Climate!
