Rome thermae

Thermae are typical Roman baths. Thermae are public state baths to do gymnastics and creational activities and meetings. Use them plebeians, slaves, patricians and emperors.

Caracalla thermae ,[object Object],Caracalla thermae were spacious bath centres in the imperial Rome. This thermae were built in Rome in 212 and 216 A.D. Caracalla thermae became a luxurious complex in Rome. In these thermae decoration was very important, there were lots of mosaics. The hot water for the thermae was very difficult to get; thermae had two ovens, one inside and another outside CARACALLA THERMAE

Titus thermae were built in Rome by emperor Titus. These thermae had capacity of 1600 people. Titus thermae were a project of emperor Titus to relieve of sad feelings. The people in Rome were sad because in Rome there was a gleat fire and a volcano erupted. The decoration was splendid, the floor had a mosaic, the ceiling magnificent paintings and the rooms were richly decorated. In these thermae was the Laoconte group, Farnesio bull… TITUS THERMAE
