E-Cell, IIT Kanpur has been set up to foster Our Initiatives
entrepreneurship culture at IITK. This cell
provides assistance in making business
plan, marketing, fund raising and other
business support as per requirement. IITK
students can leverage the well established
network of E-Cell, IITK with fund providers ,
start-up firms, and incubation centres.

generation innovators, entrepreneurs and
change makers and amalgamate IIT
Kanpur’s leadership in innovation with its
strong intellectual resources to bring about

Recent times have witnessed an enormous
growth in the number of start-up, thanks to
economic development of the country,
improved facilities and an increased exposure .
We believe that start-ups provide an
opportunity to think out of the box, they make
you toil hard under unfamiliar environment and
produce results They give you first hand
practical experience of working in various
operations of a firm.
With IIT Kanpur being one of the pioneer
engineering colleges of the country, the
program aims to connect the country’s most
intellectual young minds to the country’s future
houses .
