This document summarizes the lessons learned from participating in Startup Weekend Toronto by the founders of Task Ave. Some key lessons included making sure to show up, being willing to change plans, solving a problem you are familiar with, talking to users and peers early, and getting organized. During the event, the founders kept their solution simple, iterated through discussions, helped each other, and ensured everyone contributed. Following the event, they continued working hard, maximized pre-launch press coverage, filled in any gaps, officially launched, and enjoyed the experience.
