• H2 plant is the unit which produce Hydrogen
(H2), as product process reaction between
feed gas (hydrocarbon) from natural gas and
feed steam.
• To get higher conversion in the reformer, as
main reactor, reformer will be continoue wtih
High Temperature Shift Converter (HTSC)
reactor

purification unit which named pressure swing
adsorbtion (PSA) and feed treatment unit
• This plant can produce high purity hydrogen
99,9%

Use natural gas with the composition:
• H2 14,05 % mole dry
• C1 62,28 %
• C2 6,17 %
• C3 7,38 %
• C4 4,56 %
• C5 1,09 %
• H2S 50 ppm
• Berat Molekul : 20,5
And use steam for the reaction
6. The reaction
• CH4 + H2O = CO + 3H2
(reaksi utama, endothermic)
• CO + H2O = CO2 + H2
(reaksi samping, eksotemis, porsi kecil)
Suhu reformer ± 800 oC
