Over 350 students and family members attended a literacy focused "read aloud" at Meadowview Elementary in Farmington, Minnesota on Thursday, March 29, 2012.

2. Students and families enjoyed a meal and then took in 3 books with
sessions spaced 15 minutes apart.

3. Some of the students and their siblings got in the act
as Mrs. Leier read “Big Chicken”.

4. Mrs. Humerickhouse read Tony’s Bread to an attentive audience.

5. Even Principal Jon Reid got into the act!

6. Teachers at the school performed a dramatic performance in
the Cafetorium for the enjoyment of all!

7. Farmington Community Education staff read…. and acted out the
classic book “Little Red Hen”.
