22. Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848 - 1933) - American artist and designer, a representative of Art Nouveau. International recognition of Tiffany brought his exquisite glass: stained glass windows, lampshades, jewelry. Works of Louis Comfort Tiffany decorated churches and private homes. The world's largest collection of his jewelry and glass products is in the Metropolitan Museum in New York. He invented a way to connect small pieces of glass with copper foil, and also created new kinds of glasses, a revolution in artistic glass.
