Research Paper On Indus River Valley Civilization
Ancient Egypt
Egyptian civilization began around 5000 BC and began to flourish in 3000 BC. Generally ancient
Egyptian history is seperated into three kingdoms the old kingdon, middle, and new kingdom. The old
kingdom (2686BC 2134BC) is the time period where most of what we think of ancient Egypt like the
pyramids (built as burial tombs for the pharoah). During that time Egyptians began to write texts,
study medicine, and find new battle tactics. The Egyptians were polytheists and had a pantheon of
gods, they believed the pharoah to be the god Horus and was thus treated as such.Egyptian society was
more egalitarian than other societies, women could own property and divorce their husbands. There
was not social mobility in Egyptian society, but It was not impossible to rise up the social ladder.
Indus river valley
The Indus river valley civilization located along the Indus river was first settled around 5000BC l. It
began to flurish in 3000 Bc, And In 2600 BC one of the best known cities of the Indus river valley
civilization, Moenjo Daro was established. Buildings in the city were built out of baked bricks and set

the mesopotamians began building things like irrigation systems and levies to help keep the rivers
under control and make it easier to grow food. As more and more cities began forming people
increasingly did more than make food leading to things like writing and technology. Travel was fairly
easy as sailing on the rivers allowed people to quickly go from one end of Mespotamia to the other.
Eventually as cities grew larger they needed more from outside their borders, they started trading with
other countries; leading cities like Uruk to become centers of world

Boeing V Airbus
Boeing versus Airbus
1. Do you believe Airbus could have become a viable competitor without subsidies?
Given the competitive dynamics in the commercial aircraft industry, it is not likely that Airbus could
have become a viable competitor without subsidies. These dynamics include investment costs in the
billions for research and development of a new airliner, long break even times, significant experience
curve on the manufacturing side, and the highly volatile demand for aircraft. Due to a lack of market
share, if Airbus entered the market without this support they would have suffered many years of losses
resulting in a possible bankruptcy. However, Airbus credits its success to a good product and a good
strategy instead of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On the other hand, what happens when you have a government supported military research that could
give you the edge on commercial aircraft and you just limit yourself because you want the competition

5. Why do you think that the U.S. industry reacted with caution to attempts by politicians to reopen
the trade dispute in 1993?
There are several reasons why the US industry acted with caution. First of all, positive trade
agreements were already in place from the 1992 trade agreement. The industry probably thought it
should wait longer to ensure things worked out on their own before allowing politicians to intervene
and make changes. If politicians had caused things to go south, which they inevitably do, these
agreements would have been jeopardized. Secondly, the industry was practicing risk management. A
lack of caution could have created a mess as the economy was taking a turn for the worse. Lastly,
reopening old wounds could have caused Europe to pull out of many deals with the US, further
disrupting international relations. The US weighed the odds and very quietly backed out, as they
should have.
6. In an era of global competition, what is the case for antitrust authorities to permit the formation of
large domestic firms through mergers and acquisitions?
The grounds for any merger depend on the competitive nature of both firms. If one firm is highly
competitive and tries to

Comparing Islamic And Ancient China
Islamic and Ancient China art forms are very different, yet similar. Islamic art focused on the
depiction of patterns, such as geometric and Arabic calligraphy. Instead of human like figures, because
it is feared that the depiction of the human form is idolatry and a sin against God. Ancient Chinese art
focused on the depiction of humans and nature in their artwork. Chinese artists did so to capture the
relationship between humans and nature. Islamic architecture featured domes, mosques, shrines,
minarets and columns. The furnishings of Islamic mosques and palaces reflect a love of materials and
rich decorative pattern. Islamic artists were very meticulous when it came to the patterns and
placement of their work. Muslim artisans used materials

Social Class Structures
Primarily, the social class structures in the United States attaches descriptions of and distinctions
between individuals based on the roles and status people hold at any given moment and subsequently
judge accordingly. However, descriptions of statuses and roles in society are relatively provisional
since the structure of any society is to adapt and evolve continuously. A profession (achieved status)
that was once highly respected can now be regarded with contempt; an individual s gender (ascribed
status) once dictated how one should behave by societal standards (prescribed role), now is
disregarded and reformed. Therefore, even though in America, there are no formal, enforced social
class structures in place, social stratification, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Unsurprisingly, it has proven to be complicated to live in a devoutly religious and predominately
Caucasian community as a person who is not only struggling with their faith but also as a person of
color; it can become a very isolating situation quite quickly. Additionally, it is unambiguous that the
members of my community engage in in groups and out groups to class groups especially groups of
religion. As stated by Basirico, Cashion, and Eshleman (2014), in groups form social units in which
establishes boundaries meant to separate those who belong from those who don t; thereby making
individuals part of the out group feel inferior. Consequently, an in group s mentality often attaches
preconceived notions about out groups to which may generate misconceptions, prejudices, and
egregious stereotypes (Basirico, Cashion, Eshleman, 2014). These kinds of assumptions affect human
beings and can either support or hinder one s self concept and sense of social belongingness. For
example, in my community, there are religious stratifications that provoke not only variously
gratuitous conflict but also religious segregation and exclusion. Moreover, religious debates often
become political, and it goes without saying that I am now a firm believer in

Hubble helped determine the age of the universe and the way galaxies are formed. Revealed
extraordinary detail about the process by which sun like stars end their lives as planetary nebulae. The
telescope allows to study the universe across a wide swath of the light spectrum structure of the
universe and map the distribution of elements fundamental to life. Astronomers believe they formed
the most distant objects with Hubble with a Distance of 13.2 billion years away. According to
nbcnews.com, Scientist Labb`e stated that previous searches have found 47 galaxies at an adequately
later time, when the universe was about 650 millions years old. Hubble has also discovered dark
matter. Dark matter is invisible, but reveals its existence via gravity, makes up roughly 23% of the
universe. The telescope made it easier to understand how Dark Matter behaves and could help scientist
figure out more detail about dark matter. Hubble has greatly expanded astronomers knowledge of the
Universe. Before the telescope, distance to far off galaxies were not well known. Hubble s millionth

Improving Customer Satisfaction Without Changing The...
This case study deals with improving customer satisfaction without changing the support cost per call.
The problem was resolved using a Six Sigma DMAIC problem solving methodology. The basic
equation of Six Sigma, Y = f(x), defines the relationship between a dependent variable Y or the
outcome of a process and a set of independent variables x or possible causes which affect the outcome.
In this case study, Y is the new account growth, whereas x is the number of transfers, wait time, and
service. The Company The subject company is an IT Call Center, which is in a highly competitive
industry due to it being the fastest growing industry in the world. With competition being so fierce,
this creates low prices in the given market. Subsequently, for an organization to maintain market share
and profitability, it must offer the best service in the market. The call center provides services to a
variety of customers such as online and telephone services. The responsibilities of a call center are to
handle questions from clients with problems. The company purchased industry data from a
clearinghouse, which gathers a variety of information about customer satisfaction and call center
technical and business performance. By comparing their company to the industry standards, they
discovered their customer satisfaction was average or below the industry standard. The company s
satisfaction rating is 73% on a 100% standardized score, whereas the industry average is 76% and best

covering up other operational problems * Holt Renfrew orders product several months in advance,
reducing the supply base will allow them to build closer relationships with suppliers. A result may be
reduced lead time. * $40 to $60 Million in inventory is received in the DC each month. This is
obviously too much as merchandise not sold is taken to the secondary warehouse. The secondary
warehouse is full. * Staff in store spend a lot of time expediting shipments likely because of the
distribution centers inventory problem , they do not seem to have a system, either random, fixed or
hybrid * Staff are constantly following up on order delivery status with suppliers and transportation
service providers. There is no order confirmation method so they do not have any idea when orders are
coming in or rather should be coming in. Implementing a supplier order confirmation, supplier

planners/buyers can be aware of when expedites are required * Every time a store called to track down

Applying John Stuart Mill s Utilitarianism Theory
In July 2011, activists shut down a San Francisco subway station as a way of protesting the death of a
man shot by a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) police officer. This case was totally against the
utilitarianism s ethical. The principal of utilitarianism state that a person should perform an action that
will produce the most benefit to each person or the most happiness to the greatest number of people.
Happiness in this term is defined as something that is fun but not to be a moral action. Quinton (1973),
for instance, assume an individual who supports utilitarianism as those who agree that the goodness of
an action or behavior is determined by the outcome of the action. Moreover, utilitarianism is also a
basic theory of John Stuart Mill (1806 1873) which describes the concept of utilitarianism as a
principle of utility or happiness. Most to emphasize that something is right or good conduct in
proportion or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Deontological ethics or deontology is the normative ethical position that judges the morality of an
action based on the action s adherence to a rule or rules. It is sometimes described as duty or
obligation or rule based ethics, because rules bind you to your duty (Wikipedia). This theory is
depending only on the action not included the outcome of the action. The reason for me not to support
this theory because as by applying this theory to the protesters, we can see that this theory just
evaluates the action of the protesters, not the effect of having protest by the protesters. By this theory,
the actions of the protesters are considered to be a good and a morality action as the activist only goal
was to uphold the justice. But, what I disagree about this Kant theory is although the protestors had a
good goal, but if the outcome of this case is worse, how can it be a good and a morality action? Thus, I
think this theory not working when applying it to the

Vladimir Putin, The Most Hated Man Of His Time
Vladimir Putin, who is the president of Russia, the man that is held responsible for tearing Ukraine
apart into a battlefield. The eastern region of Ukraine withheld a city (Crimea), which became the
headlines of all western and global war for its significant role in the Ukrainian Russian Conflict. This
was due to the city that was being fought over by the two countries. As Russia s president, Vladimir
Putin was bashed by the world for being the new modern Hitler; which Hilary Clinton had compared
Putin s strategical methods on this crisis to. She compared it to the similar Nazi s of 1930; which she
had said in her speech at the University of California. Although, no one can really understand why
Vladimir Putin was the most hated man of his time. Later it became evident that it was because of the
propaganda that was created by the western media and news. We must really think the fundamentals
as to why Putin really entered Crimea, and who really is behind the new regime that has settled in
Ukraine as well as which part of the world is standing behind Ukraine. Former President Viktor
Yankovich made a phone call to Vladimir Putin seeking help. He had called while he was in hiding
fleeing to Russia right after that conversation, around a two years ago shortly after over a 100 people
were killed in a 48 hour protest. He fled his own country for his own safety. The fact that he fled as
president to a neighboring countryRussia, shows just what type of situation this man was left

Suicide in the Trenches- Analysis
Suicide In The Trenches
In my analysis, I will demonstrate how Siegfred Sassoon has used many different language techniques
to show his perspective on the true meaning of war.
For example, the poet has used simplistic diction that creates an image of the destruction of a simple
soldier boy . At first we see him whistling, this then degrades to depression which lead him to
committing suicide. Siegfred Sassoon concludes his poem with anger and a powerful message. Sneak
home and pray you ll never know emphasizes that those who aren t soldiers have to sneak home and
pray to show their empathy for the soldiers. In the last line it implies the fact that the crowd doesn t
have to go through the hell where youth and laughter go . ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
the rhyme of brain and again at line eight tries to form a connection that although a young boy was
convinced to join the war and fought tremendously for his country and himself. However, in the end,
he was pushed to his limit and no one spoke of him again . This shows how cruel and selfish war is.
The boy had sacrificed his childhood fun, laughter and playful life in for nothing to return. This is
effective because it makes the reader think about why is there war and why are there innocent lives at
risk which creates the bitter mood.
The diction used in the poem sends the reader a clear message about war. In the last stanza, the word
kindling is being used to describe the eyes of the smug faced crowds . Kindling is used to describe the
facial description which shows that it is a very shallow expression feature that expresses the lack of
empathy shown to the young men. However, Siegfried tries to show with a sarcastic tone that they
think war is a glorious thing; they feel proud of the children risking their lives with nothing in return
and seem to understand and appreciate what they are doing. But in reality the public cannot imagine
what these children are going through. This is how the word kindling reveals a shallow side of
everyone s personality.
In my personal opinion, the last stanza is the strongest and most impactful stanza. While the previous
two stanzas shows the transformation of the boy

Religion s Role In Failure To Address The Conflict Between...
INTRODUCTION
The Germany s dominating religion is Protestantism Christianity, in which Martin Luther famous for
his theologian philosophies came into picture and made the Protestantism spread greatly across the
Europe. Although there are more less split between the mainstream domination of Lutheran
Protestantism, Calvinism and Roman Catholic, but overall the Germany is being dominated by the
Protestantism Christianity. France Protestantism has a long history in its country. It produced one of
the major figures of the Reformation in John Calvin, and in the late 1590s it very nearly had a
Protestant king. The French Protestants, known as Huguenots, were very strong, at one point
controlling two hundred towns, mainly in southern France. Huguenot influence was waning and it was
evident that France would remain Catholic. This did not prevent the country from siding Protestant
powers during the Thirty Years War, but such alliances were purely political. As with other countries,
the French endured decades of religious warfare and slowly learned to keep matters of religion from
influencing too heavily matters of state. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Syrian Refugee Crisis
Syria s civil war is a really big problem in our society right now. Many of the people living there have
been killed or forced to leave the country. The issue is starting to be an immense problem for many
European countries. Many families are leaving Syria and seeking asylum in different countries such
as: Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey. These people are wanting to make new homes in these countries but
face many overwhelming struggles. The conditions of Syria are horrible. People are becoming sick
due to lack of sanitation and kids are ill treated and famished. Most kids have dropped out of school

The Unites States economy would have a positive impact if we allowed refugees to come in.
According to Studebaker, foreign born immigrants contribute almost $19,000 more in tax receipts
each decade than they consume in government benefits. This means the refugees pay for their public
services. Refugees would contribute lots of money so in return states could build new schools and
employ more teachers to teach the influx of new children. The website benjaminstudebaker.com also
stated that the Government would make a net profit of $3,000 per immigrant over the next decade for
an overall gain of $30 million. So immigrants are a positive investment for our society. Also,
immigrants have to go through a 20 month process to be admitted into the U.S. So you can assume
that these refugees are going to be safe. Probably the most important argument is that taking refugees
in is the right thing to do. According to the Jewish Journal whoever saves a life, it is considered as if
he saves an entire world. So America could be the great savior and help Syrian refugees to have a
good life and safe future. No Syrian refugee has been arrested on a terrorism charge so it would be
safe to say the threat is minimal. Also, The US owes these refugees. Without the US invasion of Iraq
in 2003, there would have been no al Qaeda in that part of the world, and no al Qaeda offshoots like
Daesh/ ISIL according to AlterNet. The U.S also has accepted almost 20,000 refugees from Iraq last
year so it is really foolish to not accept Syrians but to accept Iraqis. AlterNet also concluded that the
united states has to step up and face one of the world s great humanitarian crises. Another good reason
for America to take in Syrian refugees because the need is crucial. Most Syrians are homeless and
others have been forced to flee the country. Europe is

This was a tremendous issue for the Confederates as the only carried one blanket per person. Many
Confederate died on the march to Bentonville prior to the start of the battle.
Background
The Battle of Pea Ridge, also known as the Battle of Elkhorn Tavern, was a part of a larger campaign
to win control of Missouri during the Civil War. Seven months prior to Pea Ridge, the Union had
suffered a loss at Wilson s Creek. In an effort to gain footing after this loss, the Union Army followed
the Confederates south into Arkansas. The Union and Confederate Army s clashed on 7 March 1862,
ending in Union victory by the following day.
The Union Army (Army of the Southwest) The Union Army at Pea Ridge was lead by Brigadier
General Samuel R. Curtis. Shortly after the loss at Wilson s Creek, Union Major General Henry W.
Halleck appointed Curtis Commander of the Army of the Southwest. Curtis immediately set on an
offensive against the Confederate forces with his 10,500 men and 44 guns. He chased down the
Confederates in Springfield, Missouri. However, the Confederates, seeing that they were
outnumbered, fled to Arkansas to consolidate with reinforcements.
The Confederate Army (Army of the West) Major General Sterling Price commanded about 8,500

Public Relations ( Pr )
2.0 Introduction
Public Relations (PR) is a multifaceted function that plays a role in nearly every organisation in today
s society (Wilcox et al., 2013). Due to its complex nature, the definition of PR has changed
considerably over the past 70 years (Ledingham Bruning, 1998). This report aims to analyse how PR
can specifically support the DMD Foundation to achieve its awareness and fundraising objectives. A
common definition of PR will be examined, breaking down its key elements, followed by a discussion
regarding the overarching role of PR within organisations, specifically in the non profit sector,
highlighting the positive impact that PR could have on the DMD Foundation.
Discussion
3.1 Defining Public Relations
The subsequent definition aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the key elements
involved within the functions of the PR sector.
Public relations is the management function which evaluates public attitudes, identifies the policies
and procedures of an individual or an organisation with the public interest, and plans and executes a
program of action to earn public understanding and acceptance.
(Public Relations News, as cited in Grunig Hunt, 1984)
PR as a management function serves to promote the importance of PR departments within an
organisation (Gordon, 1997) and brings to the decision making table theories born of ongoing research
and data to drive organisational decisions (Smith, 2014). For example, modern PR is

The Role Of Women In Persepolis
In the distance, chaos builds and guns are shot. By standing up for their rights, people are dying in
riots. These riots were about women. All around the world, women are treated differently. The graphic
novel, Persepolis, enlightens readers about the Islamic Revolution and how women were treated
during that time. Because the author was young when she experienced the Islamic Revolution, the
novel is in the perspective of her as a little girl. In the book No God But God, readers are educated
about Muhammad s views of women and the religion of Islam. The Islam depicted in Persepolis
differs from Muhammad s original vision of Islam by treating women as inferior to men while
Muhammad s vision treats women as equals. In the novel Persepolis, men objectify women, because
they were said to be distracting. To remedy the biased thoughts of the men, women were commanded
to wear headscarves and extensive clothing that covered all skin with the exception of their face. The
Islamic Regime enforced this by making it a law to alway wear the hijab: Women s hair emanates rays
that excite men. That is why women should cover their hair! (Satrapi 74). Because women could no
longer wear what they wanted, they felt oppressed and degraded. The regime cruelly enforced the rule
by telling their citizens that it would protect women from all potential rapists since women were so
exposed. In the novel, Marji s mom s car broke down, so Marji and her dad went to pick her up. When

For example, in The Lone Ranger the narrator is stopped by the police as they said You re making
people nervous. You don t fit the profile of the neighborhood. (Alexie). Like the narrator in The Lone
Ranger both stores how someone s culture affects the way they act and think. Our culture changes how
we behave and react to everyday events. I will start by going through each story giving and explaining
examples and how they are related. The first short story I m going to talk about is The Lone Ranger
and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven. The first example of this is when the narrator is stopped by the police
and they said You re making people nervous. You don t fit the profile of the neighborhood. (Alexie).
Right after this the narrator is talking about how he is unable to fit into anywhere because of how the
culture views native Americans. This is an excellent example of how the culture around the narrator
has changed how he thinks about others within his culture. Another interesting event in The Lone
Ranger is when ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

deal with the culture around them. Its not that angels found that people find his interesting or trapped

a different approach and starts to act how culture expect him to be unlike the angel that is confused all

learning about mathematics. That is because this man, Pythagoras of Samos, is the creator of the
Pythagorean Theorem. It is of course what he is most likely widely known for as it is huge in
Geometry. This paper will give you all you need to know about the man who revolutionized
mathematics...Pythagoras of Samos.
Pythagoras of Samos was born back in 570 BC (Before Christ) on the island of Samos, Greece. Little
did his parents, Mnesarchus and Pythias know that he would eventually be seen as the first pure
mathematician. Young Pythagoras was not the only child in his family, or only boy for that matter, it is
believed that he did have 2 or 3 brothers. Not much is known of his personal life at home along with
his family matters. Many people just have theories based on how he lived away from mathematics.
For example, some believe he was married and had a child that would eventually be a teacher, and
others believe he never married anyone and the lady he was believed to be married to was just his
student. Aside from his personal life at home, much is known about his life in education. (1) ... Show

He knew poetry very well and recited Homer. The things that had the most influence on him thought
were mathematics, philosophy, and astronomy; although he did enjoy learning about music. If there
were people you had to credit for putting the most influence on young Pythagoras, it would definitely
be Pherekydes, Thales, and Anaximander, all were involved in mathematics in some form. His interest
in philosophy and mathematics would lead to his great accomplishments as a mathematician.

The advantages of EOQ models are as follows
1 minimizes holding cost Storing inventory is an expensive process for any business . The main
advantage of this model is that it helps in decreasing the storage or holding cost of goods by getting at
the optimum inventory level . If the holding costs are high in a firm then that firm may point to more
orders of few items to reduce the cost
2 minimizes ordering cost the aim of any firm is to minimize costs and the ordering costs are no
exception . The EOQ model helps in reducing the ordering costs by placing less orders in a year but of
more items .
3 Ease of operations EOQ does not only provide information about the optimum amount of inventory
to be ordered but it also helps in providing information such as the reorder level , lead time and the
amount of safety stock to hold . All these information help in running the business efficiently and

Ways to Take Epic Travel Photos Alone
Taking amazing photos relies on paying attention to every detail. D. Scott Carruthers, an experienced
photographer, has developed a list of iconic and scenic places to take pictures. Read on to see the
different options to take photos.
Self timed Photos
Majority of cameras, GoPros and smartphones have an option for timers. Some apps can be
downloaded so if you don t have a timer on your smartphone there is no need to worry. Self timer is
excellent for people who have a lot of time to kill. You can place your camera few feet away from you
and take about ten seconds to position yourself. To add variety to your shot selection, keep making
different poses, or you can even dance. Timed photos make others ... Show more content on

You can take shots from the back of the head, half face and side of the face to come up with incredible
images that also feature the background.
Look for a Couple Taking an Awkward Selfie
To use this method appropriately, you have to know the exact kind of picture you want. You can help
to capture a photo of a couple that is confused on how to take selfies and let them observe your
movement to make sure they take the same exact shot of you. Since they already have an incredible
photo of them from you, they will take time to produce a picture that will make you happy.
Video Screenshots
This technique may seem complicated as it takes quick photos, but it s great if you need a variety to of
photos. You can upload the video on a computer and take screenshots of the frames that you like, crop
and then edit to upload it as a photo. Videos are fantastic as you can do actions that you would not do
when holding a phone. Some cameras have 4K photography function that enables the camera to take
about 150 photos in about 5 seconds with little motion blur.
SloMo Screenshots
SloMo videos are ideal for still pictures compared to actual videos. It is a great idea for things that
move fast such as waterfalls and animals. You can later edit the photos and get to frame your favorite
shots. You can mount your phone where you are sure to get the right angle to get perfect shots of Slow
Mo by yourself.

The Prelude by William Wordsworth
Man s journey through life is poignantly influenced by the perspective he embraces. A perspective acts
as a lens to view the world, swaying one s way of thinking and decision making. This perspective is
constantly tested by the prolonged process of maturation that continues with age. The Romantic period
ceded a break from intellectual conformity towards emancipation; it marked a radical shift in popular
thinking, resulting in the growth in the value of literature, art and nature. Young Wordsworth s life
during this inquisitive time establishes a unique context in which to describe the relation between one
s experiences and one s developing views. Wordsworth s life work, The Prelude, articulates his
perspective on life as he engages in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Though the early 1800 s mark the peak of Romanticism, ironically, they also mark the time of the
Industrial Revolution. The love of humanity and nature present in Romantic thought is juxtaposed by
increasing urbanization and entrepreneurship in Great Britain. Unique to Wordsworth, he is able to
relate to not only the Romanticism spreading in France, but the rise of industrialism in Great Britain.
The contrast present between these two movements forces Wordsworth s opinions to culminate in a
more convicted worldview. Following Wordsworth s life of simplicity in London, his return to France
marks the beginning of the most influential development of his perspective. Wordsworth s connection
to the French Revolution largely shapes his views of man and tests his optimism of man s true nature.
During his visits to sites like the Bastille and the Palais Royale intricately connected to the French
revolution contrasting emotions of hope and fear emerge into Wordsworth s thinking. Wordsworth s
political views further develop as he grows in relationship with his favorite French officer, Beaupuy.
The two speak of humanity, politics, and history and their conversations allow the reader to more
easily comprehend Wordsworth s perspective of man. The conversations between Wordsworth and
Beaupuy over humanity communicate Wordsworth s respect and idealization of Beaupuy s character.
He describes Beaupuy as a,
Man he loved
As man; and, to the mean and the

Strengths And Weaknesses Of Nar
Strengths
Before the mid 1970s, NASCAR was never televised live. In 1979, the Daytona 500 became the first
NASCAR event televised in its entirety. Since then, television has become the main branding medium
for NASCAR, and it appears to be working well. One of NASCAR s strengths is they brokered a
comprehensive 2.4 billion dollar contract with FOX and NBC in 2011. This will not only help
NASCRA to spread their brand, but also earn $2.4 billion from FOX and NBC. Another strength is the
loyalty of their fans. According to the drive to connect, in 2015, NASCAR had 70 million fans. Their
fans are considered the most loyal in all of sports, making NASCAR the #1 sport for fan brand loyalty.
Fans are not only loyal to the sport, but also to sponsors. This is one reason why sponsors are willing
to pay the high premiums to align themselves with NASCAR. Their ability to successfully co brand
themselves is an invaluable strength. As mentioned above, their fans patron the sponsors, increasing
their profits. It s because of this, that allows this co branding strategy to work. Because NASCAR
knows how important it is for sponsors to see an increase in sales, they offer training sessions to help
them make the most out of their sponsorship. Sponsorships make up 50% of NASCAR s revenue so it
s vital that these partnerships are maintained. Another success is their ability to differentiate
themselves from the competition. NASCAR partners with Hollywood to strategically place their

The Late Middle Ages
The late Middle ages was definitely a troubled time for citizens around Europe. From the 14th Century
to the 15th Century, humans were raveled by famines, disruption of socio economics, and lost of faith
in the Catholic Church. To the eyes of many at the time, this era was looked at as a major decline of
life. With the many deaths, poor condition for poor people, and the schism of the Church, it may seem
easy to call this era a decline. Although upon closer looking, this era is more of a transitional period
into the next period than a decline due to many reasons. Whether you look at religious, social
movements, or economically, the late Middle Ages helped transition Europe into what it has become.

The Hunger Games And The Lottery
Mark Pedelty said: Ritual is, therefore, a primary site of contact between self and society, a place
where our individual selves are transformed into collective selves. As Pedelty suggests, rituals create a
loss of individualism and an increase in conformity. Pedelty s idea is clearly displayed with the
fictional rituals in Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games and Shirley Jackson s The Lottery. These two
stories rituals are based on chance and are basically death sentences; in contrast, the rituals are viewed
differently and were created for different reasons. The ritual in The Lottery has several similarities to
the ritual in The Hunger Games. One considerable similarity was that both rituals relied purely on
chance. In The Lottery, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Analysis Of A Life Beyond Do What You Love
Many people place what they love doing as their top priority when considering future career options.
However, Gordon Marino, professor of philosophy at St. Olaf College and editor of The Quotable
Kierkegaard, believes that this should not be the case. He wrote on the subject in his article titled A
Life Beyond Do What You Love , which was published in The New York Times on May 17, 2014. His
purpose in writing this article is to offer a different view of a commonly held belief. Mr. Marino
argues that the statement do what you love is an elitist aspect of our culture that degrades the inherent
value of work and severs connections between work, talent, and duty. He supports his argument
through his anecdotes denoting his personal experience, continuous appeals to authority, his use of
deductive reasoning, and through procatalepsis.
Marino uses anecdotes detailing his personal experience about choosing love several times in his
article to support his argument. He opens his article with an anecdote that establishes his authority as a
person who advises students on career options and then clarifies that he is, in fact, an occupational
counselor. He recounts a humorous event in which a student was wondering what to do with his life
after graduation. The student was stuck between becoming a doctor or a philosophy professor, the
student also confessed to thinking about giving stand up comedy a try (Marino 1, para.1). This first
anecdote ensures the reader that Marino is

Criminalogical Theories Applied to Monster The Autobiography of an LA Gang Member In Monster:
The Autobiography of an L.A. Gang Member, Kody Scott tells the story of the struggle between two
significantly large gangs. At the age of eleven he was initiated into the Crips, and committed his first
murder. It was this day that began what would become a career for Kody: banging (Scott, 1993). Kody
worked hard to secure a reputation for his name. He held loyal to his homeboys and began to build up
the Crips. His potential for being in a leadership position became more and more evident as time went
on. During one incident, a police officer referred to him as a monster, and the name stuck. He worked

The Differential Association Theory states that all behavior, pro social and anti social is learned, and
that we choose the behaviors that are the most rewarding to us (Class Notes). The Night of Kody s
initiation he had taken part in shooting down a group of 15 Bloods. After it all was over and he was
laying awake in bed, he felt guilty and ashamed of [himself] (Scott, 1993: 13). He knew what he had
done was wrong, but when the chance came again for him to choose between right, and what the set
wanted him to do, he chose to follow his fellow Crips. Kody chose the praise and approval of his
friends over the law, and what he knew in his heart was right (Scott, 1993). The Social Learning
Theory is similar to the Differential Association Theory in the respect that they both depend on the
approval of others. It says that ...crime is something learned by normal people as they adapt to other
people and the conditions of their environment (Bohm, 2001: 82). People learn by reinforcement
weather it is positive or negative. Growing up Kody began to feel more and more that his mom no
longer expressed any love or care for him, but that she only nagged him. After returning home from
juvenile hall the greeting that Kody got from his mother wasn t exactly what he wanted. I knew she
meant well, but I wasn t up to it tonight. I wanted to be loved, to be missed, to be wanted, not scolded

Literary Criticism Of In Cold Blood
Truman Capote s In Cold Blood is a retelling of the true account of two men slaughtering four
members of a prosperous Kansas family on the night of November 15th, 1959. Capote s factual story
of the murders of the Clutter family, the arrest of two convicts, the trial and the convictions garnered
widespread media attention and fame for Capote. However, In Cold Blood has been critically analyzed
by both worlds of fiction writers as well as journalists on claims that the book is immaculately factual
(Plimpton). In In Cold Blood, Truman Capote delivers a single cohesive narrative of a true account
which is worthy of being considered an influential work in a new literary genre: The Non Fiction
Novel (Plimpton). Capote s style creates a detached yet penetrating effect of the savage murder of an
innocent family and is deemed too violent for young minds and hence banned in 1965. In spite of the
criticism, the release of the novel popularized the genre of creative ... Show more content on

Up until the release of In Cold Blood, the non fiction novel lived in the form of many guises.
Spanning several centuries from the end of the sixteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth

world (Wainwright 2). One of the formulations, the metahistorical novel took the historical accuracy
of an event with no factual accuracy. Others were more autobiographical, namely: the fictional
autobiography (Wainwright 2). With the advent of the release of Capote s novel, In Cold Blood, a new
style of writing emerged giving it the name: New Journalism. Capote s drive to delve into the novel

Importance Of Enslavement In African American Life
Enslaving a people takes more than just declaring them slaves. There must be certain actions done to
get them to work and to coercive them to into working. The methods of keeping people enslaves are
both physical and psychological. The distance from the African s home and the violence forced them
to work for their master. Reciprocal obligations and hope for earning freedom helped to convince that
they needed to participate in the slave system to survive. All these methods of enslavement were
necessary to maintain the enslavement. One of the important aspects of enslaving a people is Natal
Alienation, which is the separation of people from their home and family. This did not occur just once
over and over the slaves were separated from family. On plantations slaves did marry and then were
sold and husbands and wives, parents and children were often split up and sent to different plantation
to work. This was stated as a necessary part of the process of enslavement the outsider status of the
slave as a critical attribute of his condition. Because to be a slave is often to be ... Show more content

Foundationalism Analysis
Firstly, I shall introduce Foundationalism by its definition and how it pursues and supposes simple but
fundamental truths. It is necessary to consider components of Foundationalism separately from the
theory in order to understand the premises of the argument as justified. As well as complications with
the theory of belief it proposes, there are limitations of Foundationalism, which can also be shown
through the possibility of a better theory.
For Foundationalists, their belief stems from the conviction that simple and fundamental truths exist.
Considered epistemically justified because of its principle that there is a structure to our knowledge
through justified beliefs, the theory claims that foundational beliefs can be known. These basic ...

An adaptation of Foundationalism was presented through externalist versions. Exactly what the
internalism and externalism views are limited by is not decisively defined in epistemology.
Externalists contemplate profoundly distinctive views to persons of conventional Foundationalism; the
construction of knowledge as well as the rationalisation from theories remains often one of
Foundationalism s initial configurations. Goldman s reliabilism offers a perspective of externalist
persuasion. The principle notion of reliabilism seems simplistic; a belief is justified if it is produced
through reliable beliefs, making them likely to be true. Goldman does however determine that justified
beliefs can be sub divided into belief dependent or belief independent, the process of belief
distinguishing the difference. Those that are independently processed through stimuli that we take as
input beliefs, possibly a evolved conclusion associated with specific sensorial stimuli which we reflect
upon and thus form our conclusion about the external. These make them more likely to be true, which
belief dependent processes are generated from. Externalism may be attractive to those who adopt
Foundationalist beliefs because of their allowance when considering justified belief in a fundamental

  • 2. Research Paper On Indus River Valley Civilization Ancient Egypt Egyptian civilization began around 5000 BC and began to flourish in 3000 BC. Generally ancient Egyptian history is seperated into three kingdoms the old kingdon, middle, and new kingdom. The old kingdom (2686BC 2134BC) is the time period where most of what we think of ancient Egypt like the pyramids (built as burial tombs for the pharoah). During that time Egyptians began to write texts, study medicine, and find new battle tactics. The Egyptians were polytheists and had a pantheon of gods, they believed the pharoah to be the god Horus and was thus treated as such.Egyptian society was more egalitarian than other societies, women could own property and divorce their husbands. There was not social mobility in Egyptian society, but It was not impossible to rise up the social ladder. Travel was fairly easy as sailing on the rivers allowed people to quickly go from one end of Mespotamia to the other. • 3. Boeing V Airbus Boeing versus Airbus 1. Do you believe Airbus could have become a viable competitor without subsidies? Given the competitive dynamics in the commercial aircraft industry, it is not likely that Airbus could have become a viable competitor without subsidies. These dynamics include investment costs in the billions for research and development of a new airliner, long break even times, significant experience curve on the manufacturing side, and the highly volatile demand for aircraft. Due to a lack of market share, if Airbus entered the market without this support they would have suffered many years of losses resulting in a possible bankruptcy. However, Airbus credits its success to a good product and a good strategy instead of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... On the other hand, what happens when you have a government supported military research that could give you the edge on commercial aircraft and you just limit yourself because you want the competition to fail. Don t shoot your own foot. 5. Why do you think that the U.S. industry reacted with caution to attempts by politicians to reopen the trade dispute in 1993? There are several reasons why the US industry acted with caution. First of all, positive trade agreements were already in place from the 1992 trade agreement. The industry probably thought it should wait longer to ensure things worked out on their own before allowing politicians to intervene and make changes. If politicians had caused things to go south, which they inevitably do, these agreements would have been jeopardized. Secondly, the industry was practicing risk management. A lack of caution could have created a mess as the economy was taking a turn for the worse. Lastly, reopening old wounds could have caused Europe to pull out of many deals with the US, further disrupting international relations. The US weighed the odds and very quietly backed out, as they should have. 6. • 5. Social Class Structures Primarily, the social class structures in the United States attaches descriptions of and distinctions between individuals based on the roles and status people hold at any given moment and subsequently judge accordingly. However, descriptions of statuses and roles in society are relatively provisional since the structure of any society is to adapt and evolve continuously. A profession (achieved status) that was once highly respected can now be regarded with contempt; an individual s gender (ascribed status) once dictated how one should behave by societal standards (prescribed role), now is disregarded and reformed. Therefore, even though in America, there are no formal, enforced social class structures in place, social stratification, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Unsurprisingly, it has proven to be complicated to live in a devoutly religious and predominately Caucasian community as a person who is not only struggling with their faith but also as a person of color; it can become a very isolating situation quite quickly. As stated by Basirico, Cashion, and Eshleman (2014), in groups form social units in which establishes boundaries meant to separate those who belong from those who don t; thereby making individuals part of the out group feel inferior. Consequently, an in group s mentality often attaches preconceived notions about out groups to which may generate misconceptions, prejudices, and egregious stereotypes (Basirico, Cashion, Eshleman, 2014). These kinds of assumptions affect human beings and can either support or hinder one s self concept and sense of social belongingness. For example, in my community, there are religious stratifications that provoke not only variously gratuitous conflict but also religious segregation and exclusion. • 9. Applying John Stuart Mill s Utilitarianism Theory In July 2011, activists shut down a San Francisco subway station as a way of protesting the death of a man shot by a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) police officer. This case was totally against the utilitarianism s ethical. The principal of utilitarianism state that a person should perform an action that will produce the most benefit to each person or the most happiness to the greatest number of people. Happiness in this term is defined as something that is fun but not to be a moral action. Quinton (1973), for instance, assume an individual who supports utilitarianism as those who agree that the goodness of an action or behavior is determined by the outcome of the action. Moreover, utilitarianism is also a basic theory of John Stuart Mill (1806 1873) which describes the concept of utilitarianism as a principle of utility or happiness. Deontological ethics or deontology is the normative ethical position that judges the morality of an action based on the action s adherence to a rule or rules. It is sometimes described as duty or obligation or rule based ethics, because rules bind you to your duty (Wikipedia). This theory is depending only on the action not included the outcome of the action. The reason for me not to support this theory because as by applying this theory to the protesters, we can see that this theory just evaluates the action of the protesters, not the effect of having protest by the protesters. By this theory, the actions of the protesters are considered to be a good and a morality action as the activist only goal was to uphold the justice. But, what I disagree about this Kant theory is although the protestors had a good goal, but if the outcome of this case is worse, how can it be a good and a morality action? Thus, I think this theory not working when applying it to the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Vladimir Putin, The Most Hated Man Of His Time Vladimir Putin, who is the president of Russia, the man that is held responsible for tearing Ukraine apart into a battlefield. The eastern region of Ukraine withheld a city (Crimea), which became the headlines of all western and global war for its significant role in the Ukrainian Russian Conflict. This was due to the city that was being fought over by the two countries. As Russia s president, Vladimir Putin was bashed by the world for being the new modern Hitler; which Hilary Clinton had compared Putin s strategical methods on this crisis to. She compared it to the similar Nazi s of 1930; which she had said in her speech at the University of California. Although, no one can really understand why Vladimir Putin was the most hated man of his time. Later it became evident that it was because of the propaganda that was created by the western media and news. We must really think the fundamentals as to why Putin really entered Crimea, and who really is behind the new regime that has settled in Ukraine as well as which part of the world is standing behind Ukraine. Former President Viktor Yankovich made a phone call to Vladimir Putin seeking help. He had called while he was in hiding fleeing to Russia right after that conversation, around a two years ago shortly after over a 100 people were killed in a 48 hour protest. He fled his own country for his own safety. The fact that he fled as president to a neighboring countryRussia, shows just what type of situation this man was left ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 11. Suicide in the Trenches- Analysis Suicide In The Trenches In my analysis, I will demonstrate how Siegfred Sassoon has used many different language techniques to show his perspective on the true meaning of war. For example, the poet has used simplistic diction that creates an image of the destruction of a simple soldier boy . At first we see him whistling, this then degrades to depression which lead him to committing suicide. Siegfred Sassoon concludes his poem with anger and a powerful message. Sneak home and pray you ll never know emphasizes that those who aren t soldiers have to sneak home and pray to show their empathy for the soldiers. In the last line it implies the fact that the crowd doesn t have to go through the hell where youth and laughter go . ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... the rhyme of brain and again at line eight tries to form a connection that although a young boy was convinced to join the war and fought tremendously for his country and himself. However, in the end, he was pushed to his limit and no one spoke of him again . This shows how cruel and selfish war is. The boy had sacrificed his childhood fun, laughter and playful life in for nothing to return. This is effective because it makes the reader think about why is there war and why are there innocent lives at risk which creates the bitter mood. The diction used in the poem sends the reader a clear message about war. In the last stanza, the word kindling is being used to describe the eyes of the smug faced crowds . Kindling is used to describe the facial description which shows that it is a very shallow expression feature that expresses the lack of empathy shown to the young men. However, Siegfried tries to show with a sarcastic tone that they think war is a glorious thing; they feel proud of the children risking their lives with nothing in return and seem to understand and appreciate what they are doing. But in reality the public cannot imagine what these children are going through. This is how the word kindling reveals a shallow side of everyone s personality. INTRODUCTION The Germany s dominating religion is Protestantism Christianity, in which Martin Luther famous for his theologian philosophies came into picture and made the Protestantism spread greatly across the Europe. Although there are more less split between the mainstream domination of Lutheran Protestantism, Calvinism and Roman Catholic, but overall the Germany is being dominated by the Protestantism Christianity. France Protestantism has a long history in its country. It produced one of the major figures of the Reformation in John Calvin, and in the late 1590s it very nearly had a Protestant king. The French Protestants, known as Huguenots, were very strong, at one point controlling two hundred towns, mainly in southern France. Huguenot influence was waning and it was evident that France would remain Catholic. This did not prevent the country from siding Protestant powers during the Thirty Years War, but such alliances were purely political. As with other countries, the French endured decades of religious warfare and slowly learned to keep matters of religion from influencing too heavily matters of state. ... According to Studebaker, foreign born immigrants contribute almost $19,000 more in tax receipts each decade than they consume in government benefits. This means the refugees pay for their public services. Refugees would contribute lots of money so in return states could build new schools and employ more teachers to teach the influx of new children. The website benjaminstudebaker.com also stated that the Government would make a net profit of $3,000 per immigrant over the next decade for an overall gain of $30 million. So immigrants are a positive investment for our society. Also, immigrants have to go through a 20 month process to be admitted into the U.S. So you can assume that these refugees are going to be safe. Probably the most important argument is that taking refugees in is the right thing to do. According to the Jewish Journal whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saves an entire world. So America could be the great savior and help Syrian refugees to have a good life and safe future. No Syrian refugee has been arrested on a terrorism charge so it would be safe to say the threat is minimal. Also, The US owes these refugees. Without the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, there would have been no al Qaeda in that part of the world, and no al Qaeda offshoots like Daesh/ ISIL according to AlterNet. The U.S also has accepted almost 20,000 refugees from Iraq last year so it is really foolish to not accept Syrians but to accept Iraqis. Due to its complex nature, the definition of PR has changed considerably over the past 70 years (Ledingham Bruning, 1998). This report aims to analyse how PR can specifically support the DMD Foundation to achieve its awareness and fundraising objectives. A common definition of PR will be examined, breaking down its key elements, followed by a discussion regarding the overarching role of PR within organisations, specifically in the non profit sector, highlighting the positive impact that PR could have on the DMD Foundation. Because the author was young when she experienced the Islamic Revolution, the novel is in the perspective of her as a little girl. In the book No God But God, readers are educated about Muhammad s views of women and the religion of Islam. The Islam depicted in Persepolis differs from Muhammad s original vision of Islam by treating women as inferior to men while Muhammad s vision treats women as equals. In the novel Persepolis, men objectify women, because they were said to be distracting. To remedy the biased thoughts of the men, women were commanded to wear headscarves and extensive clothing that covered all skin with the exception of their face. The Islamic Regime enforced this by making it a law to alway wear the hijab: Women s hair emanates rays that excite men. That is why women should cover their hair! (Satrapi 74). Because women could no longer wear what they wanted, they felt oppressed and degraded. The regime cruelly enforced the rule by telling their citizens that it would protect women from all potential rapists since women were so exposed. However, Gordon Marino, professor of philosophy at St. Olaf College and editor of The Quotable Kierkegaard, believes that this should not be the case. He wrote on the subject in his article titled A Life Beyond Do What You Love , which was published in The New York Times on May 17, 2014. His purpose in writing this article is to offer a different view of a commonly held belief. Mr. Marino argues that the statement do what you love is an elitist aspect of our culture that degrades the inherent value of work and severs connections between work, talent, and duty. He supports his argument through his anecdotes denoting his personal experience, continuous appeals to authority, his use of deductive reasoning, and through procatalepsis. Marino uses anecdotes detailing his personal experience about choosing love several times in his article to support his argument. He opens his article with an anecdote that establishes his authority as a person who advises students on career options and then clarifies that he is, in fact, an occupational counselor. He recounts a humorous event in which a student was wondering what to do with his life after graduation. Kody chose the praise and approval of his friends over the law, and what he knew in his heart was right (Scott, 1993). The Social Learning Theory is similar to the Differential Association Theory in the respect that they both depend on the approval of others. It says that ...crime is something learned by normal people as they adapt to other people and the conditions of their environment (Bohm, 2001: 82). People learn by reinforcement weather it is positive or negative. Growing up Kody began to feel more and more that his mom no longer expressed any love or care for him, but that she only nagged him. After returning home from juvenile hall the greeting that Kody got from his mother wasn t exactly what he wanted. I knew she meant well, but I wasn t up to it tonight. I wanted to be loved, to be missed, to be wanted, not scolded (Scott, 1993: 173). The ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Literary Criticism Of In Cold Blood Truman Capote s In Cold Blood is a retelling of the true account of two men slaughtering four members of a prosperous Kansas family on the night of November 15th, 1959. Capote s factual story of the murders of the Clutter family, the arrest of two convicts, the trial and the convictions garnered widespread media attention and fame for Capote. However, In Cold Blood has been critically analyzed by both worlds of fiction writers as well as journalists on claims that the book is immaculately factual (Plimpton). In In Cold Blood, Truman Capote delivers a single cohesive narrative of a true account which is worthy of being considered an influential work in a new literary genre: The Non Fiction Novel (Plimpton). Capote s style creates a detached yet penetrating effect of the savage murder of an innocent family and is deemed too violent for young minds and hence banned in 1965. In spite of the criticism, the release of the novel popularized the genre of creative ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Up until the release of In Cold Blood, the non fiction novel lived in the form of many guises. Spanning several centuries from the end of the sixteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century, several phases of documentary novel or the non fiction novel had been evolving in the literary world (Wainwright 2). One of the formulations, the metahistorical novel took the historical accuracy of an event with no factual accuracy. Others were more autobiographical, namely: the fictional autobiography (Wainwright 2). With the advent of the release of Capote s novel, In Cold Blood, a new style of writing emerged giving it the name: New Journalism. Capote s drive to delve into the novel length nonfiction had been a lifelong ambition. Having spent five years in Kansas researching the murders alongside the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 33. Importance Of Enslavement In African American Life Enslaving a people takes more than just declaring them slaves. There must be certain actions done to get them to work and to coercive them to into working. The methods of keeping people enslaves are both physical and psychological. The distance from the African s home and the violence forced them to work for their master. Reciprocal obligations and hope for earning freedom helped to convince that they needed to participate in the slave system to survive. All these methods of enslavement were necessary to maintain the enslavement. One of the important aspects of enslaving a people is Natal Alienation, which is the separation of people from their home and family. This did not occur just once over and over the slaves were separated from family. On plantations slaves did marry and then were sold and husbands and wives, parents and children were often split up and sent to different plantation to work. This was stated as a necessary part of the process of enslavement the outsider status of the slave as a critical attribute of his condition. Because to be a slave is often to be ... There was division between the slaves because of the work they had to do. There were some differences between men s and women s work. Though both genders worked in the field, women were not isolated from hard labor like white women were. Men had the opportunity to get jobs that had the potential to earn some money. Also some men s jobs gave them power over other slaves, men and women. Women were only given jobs that gave them power over children or animals. Women were also eligible to become house slaves that while that protected them from the harder field work and gave then access to extra food. However working in house added another degree of Natal Alienation from their fellow ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 34. Foundationalism Analysis Firstly, I shall introduce Foundationalism by its definition and how it pursues and supposes simple but fundamental truths. It is necessary to consider components of Foundationalism separately from the theory in order to understand the premises of the argument as justified. As well as complications with the theory of belief it proposes, there are limitations of Foundationalism, which can also be shown through the possibility of a better theory. For Foundationalists, their belief stems from the conviction that simple and fundamental truths exist. Considered epistemically justified because of its principle that there is a structure to our knowledge through justified beliefs, the theory claims that foundational beliefs can be known. These basic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... An adaptation of Foundationalism was presented through externalist versions. Exactly what the internalism and externalism views are limited by is not decisively defined in epistemology. Externalists contemplate profoundly distinctive views to persons of conventional Foundationalism; the construction of knowledge as well as the rationalisation from theories remains often one of Foundationalism s initial configurations. Goldman s reliabilism offers a perspective of externalist persuasion. The principle notion of reliabilism seems simplistic; a belief is justified if it is produced through reliable beliefs, making them likely to be true. Goldman does however determine that justified beliefs can be sub divided into belief dependent or belief independent, the process of belief distinguishing the difference. Those that are independently processed through stimuli that we take as input beliefs, possibly a evolved conclusion associated with specific sensorial stimuli which we reflect upon and thus form our conclusion about the external. These make them more likely to be true, which belief dependent processes are generated from. Externalism may be attractive to those who adopt Foundationalist beliefs because of their allowance when considering justified belief in a fundamental ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
