3. Pediatrician Skills Needed Need to be able to show love to kids no matter what. Have to great social skills. Have to be able to deal with “gross” situations. Great skills in science and math. Have to be able to be patient with the youth and mindful of there feelings. Responsibilities Providing care to youth from birth to early adulthood. Diagnosis and treatment of different ailments for the youth. Track the growth of youth from birth to early adulthood. To love and take care of the youth. To keep the youth healthy and alive as long as possible. To provide medical care. Education Needed- I need to go to college for four years and graduate for a bachelor’s degree. Then I have I have to take the MCAT test (the test to get you in to medical school). After that, I have to go to medical school for four years. Last, I have to spend three years in residency.
