Mattingly "AI & Prompt Design: Large Language Models"
The Latest on 112 based emergency call legislation and end to end security for a digital society
1. About this masterclass:
eCall is a pan-European in-vehicle emergency call service based on 112, the
common European emergency number. In the event of an accident, data
is automatically transmitted through the eCall system, whilst a voice call is set
up, allowing emergency services to assist vehicle drivers and passengers
more precisely and quickly, thus helping to save lives and to treat injuries
rapidly. The objective is to have this system seamlessly functioning throughout
Europe by 2015, with the coordination of member states, car manufacturers,
telecom operators and emergency centres. Along with eCall ERA GLONASS,
Russia’s equivalent, which was commissioned late 2013 is in its early stages of
deployment. This masterclass will reflect the status on both eCall and ERA-
GLONASS in line with announcements made in July.
Coupled with this the digital age requests for a multimodal travel experience.
Smart phones bring together between 30-40 devices into one. Per day
approximately 1300 malware is fired towards solutions like these to hack and
steal digital identity. The 2nd part of the masterclass will look into how to
secure end to end communication and protect identity using the latest
solutions available.
Why should you attend:
• Hear about the latest
developments of eCall
• Discuss ERA GLONASS
and its first 6 months of
deployment
• Understand the security
issues around M2M
systems such as these
• Discover the solutions
available to the market
• Share thoughts and get
an understanding on
cloud usage, NFCs and
remote access
