On the Global front, India's foreign exchange reserves rose to $298.64 billion as of
March 21 from $297.29 billion in the week earlier. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is
expected to keep its key interest rate steady at 8 percent on April 1 as inflation has
eased, according to all 53 economists polled.

building economic recovery U.S. consumer spending increased in February, but a dip in
sentiment this month offered confirmation that economic growth slowed in the first
