2. What is social entrepreneurship? How do you define it in Sicily?
From global theory to local practice
What we can define as social entrepreneurship in Sicily is the opportunity to
transform old habits related to influence peddling, typical of the southern
economies - where decisions have been always driven by the top down process in
a new bottom down process, where citizens became aware of their needs and
through collaboration and cooperation transform this awareness in social and
sustainable economies.

or private companies for the growth of the community.
