2. …“Marijuana has proven to show positive
effects, we have to consider the risks factors
through regulation, health, and addiction.
Although, Marijuana has negatively
influenced younger generations, it is all
around us, and therefore should be legalized
in order to take the next step forward.”

3. Marijuana is a green, brown, or gray
mixture of dried, shredded leaves, stems,
seeds, and flowers of the hemp plant.

4. If
not erased entirely, taxation
would help the nation’s debt
Jobs would be readily available
More money saved as a nation
by closing prohibition
enforcement agencies
We spend $10 billion a year to
enforce prohibition!
Lastly,this would allow law
enforcement to pursue real and
BIGGER crimes such as murder

5. Crimes for possessing, growing, and
selling marijuana are far greater
than a person who has committed
murder

6. • Marijuana is already prevalent within our
nation
• A 2005 study conducted by the National
Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH)
estimated that 97.5 million Americans older
than 12 have tried marijuana at least once in
their lifetime, meaning about 41 percent of
the population has tried marijuana (One in
ten people!)
• Marijuana contains more than 400 chemicals

9. Marijuana helps AIDS patients
curb nausea and increase
appetite
Cancer itself and cancer
treatments have several side
effects, but marijuana has been
known to help with nausea,
vomiting, pain relief and also as
a sleep aid.

10. Marijuana helps to fight
chronic pain and relieves
inflammation for those
with arthritis (it also
attacks the immune
system that triggers
arthritis)

11. Diabetes
Marijuana is a
vasodilator which
helps promote blood
flow, and reduce
blood pressure.

12. Pupil
Optic nerves become so
constricted, it causes
increased pressure to the
back of the eye
Marijuana reduces the
pressures, which creates a
sense of euphoria

14.  Be good role models!
 Stay involved in our children’s lives.
 Educate our children!
