3. Human Genome Project The human genome project was a 13 year project where they identified all the approximately 20,000-25,000 genes in human DNA, determine the sequences of the 3 billion chemical base pairs that make up human DNA, store this information in databases, improve tools for data analysis, transfer related technologies to the private sector, and address the ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI) that may arise from the project.

4. Against Human Cloning No human should have to be cloned. Just because your having a cloned baby doesn’t mean that its living. Does really having a cloned baby mean it has a soul? No baby should have to be put through a cloning process. Cloning a baby is just splitting one. Anything messing with the cycle of nature is bound to go wrong.

5. Genetic Disorder One genetic disorder is Down Syndrome . This is when an odd number of chromosomes enters the fetus during fertilization. Many physical signs can be seen before fetus is born, such as abnormal head circumference, unaligned neck and spine, and a “flat” face. When born the baby will have a fattened face and mental retardation. Even though of the disorder, people with down syndrome can usually life a normal independent life.

6. Argument 1 Why would you clone your baby? Each person is unique and special in their own way. To clone or not to clone is the question. The thoughts of cloning humans is highly controversial. If you mess with the cycle of nature who knows what will happen? Things are bound to happen. 7. Argument 2 Cloning is unchristian and against nature. In regards to cloning ethics, the Bible is clear that God is the Author of all life. Psalm 100:3 it says, &quot;Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves.&quot;

9. Argument 4 No humans have been cloned yet, how do we know it is safe? Lets look at Dolly, the cloned sheep? Well she suffers all sorts of issues and medical problems. It can take hundreds of times to successfully clone something, and if it takes so long, the person might already die! Bottom line, cloning's bad! Why would you put yourself or your family through this trouble and issues, just let nature take its course.

10. Conclusion In the end it all comes down to personal feeling about cloning.
