1. Tickets now available online for all screenings of Sorrow

This month, writer and director of Sorrow Millie Loredo will finally get to watch her
passion project come to fruition after four long years of hard work. Loredo, lead
actress Vannessa Vasquez and actor Eric Martinez will travel to five theaters in four
different states to screen the film.
The screening tour is set, and tickets are now available online! They will screen the
film at River Oaks Theatre in Houston, Texas; the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia;
Carolina Crownpoint Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina; and the Quad Cinema and
the Anthology Film Archives in New York, New York.
Loredo said her love for horrorfilms is what drove her to turn Sorrow from a 15-
minute short horror film into a full-length feature film, and she feels honored to be
able to screen her debut indie horror film across the country.
The screening tour begins with the premiere at River Oaks Theatre on Tuesday,
April 21, at 9:30 p.m. “I chose to premiere the film in Houston, because that’s my
hometown and where I shot most of the movie,” Loredo said. “What excites me most
is to be able to share this film with the people who helped make it happen and being
able to see them enjoy the product of their hard work.”
Vasquez, currently starring as Camila in Hulu Network’s “East Los High,” said she is
proud to work alongside Loredo to screen the indie film not only at the Plaza
Theatre but in five other theaters across the country.
“For [Loredo], this was her first film, and of course, I’m just starting in the industry,”
she said. “It is kind of a neat project for us to showcase ourselves and try to get
ourselves out there, because we are both very committed to what we are doing.”
Loredo, Vasquez and Martinez will attend each screening and participate in a Q&A
