This document provides advice and suggestions for Rotary scholars on finding service opportunities during and after their study abroad experience. It encourages scholars to look for current local projects to join, stay connected with Rotary clubs and districts, team up with other scholars, join projects through their university, research local non-governmental organizations, and focus their service on their skills, career goals, or cultural issues in their host country. The document shares examples of specific service projects and organizations the author participated with during their time as a Rotary scholar in South Africa.
