  delivery, proofreading, evaluation, formal writing and
  poster design

• Excellent integration possibilities

• Effective communication between lecturers, learners
  and D2L improves morale and attendance

• Draw up some proofreading assessments for
  final outcome (May 2012)
• Ensure subject registration documentation is
  submitted timeously (March 2012)
Conclusion
• Presentation skills are extremely important for
  all Science students

• Time management, attendance, engagement
  and effective research strategies are key

• D2L is an effective way of communicating with
  students when attendance is sparse
What I have learned
• Problems encountered: time
  management, not using time to research
  properly, lack of subject
  knowledge, paperwork issues

• Resolutions to problems: work out a
  meaningful schedule for work until the end of
  the unit, consult research methodology slides
  on D2L, ask tutor for deadline information
