4. An idea is something that can be useful to others, such as an inspiration, a feedback, an insight or a idea.
5. Each idea consists of the idea as such and tags that help to find out what your idea is about and for whom it is.
6. So if your idea is for instance about a design suggestion for coca-cola, you could write it this way: Different coke can designs would be beautiful. Tags: #coca-cola #beverages #candesign
7. The more concrete you are, the easier it gets for others to understand and to find your idea. So tags are very important!
8. For every idea you create, you can always choose if it gets into the ideastream or not.
9. If you post it into the stream, others can view, support and reward your idea.
10. If you make it private, it will only be visible to the ones that you share your idea with.
11. So how do companies and the ones benefiting from them get informed about ideas that are created?
13. 1. Directly on Sparks & Badges It might be that the ones benefiting from your idea are already here, so they can directly see your idea and thank you with a little reward.
14. 2. Send it to others You can share your idea directly with companies and friends by using the send button or posting the link on facebook or elsewhere.
15. 3. Wait for others Once your idea is in the ideastream or posted on your facebook profile, others can see your idea and may share it with others for you.
16. 4. We share your idea In addition we are bundling ideas for specific recipients and areas and once we got a bunch of ideas we move out and present them to companies, where you might get additional rewards.
18. On the upper end of the ideastreamyou can also switch between seeing your ideas (mine) and all ideas (recent).
19. By moving over the menu panel, you are able to access your profile page, the tour or the FAQ.
20. On your profile page you are able to provide more information about you, so that companies may selected you for specific innovation challenges.
21. If, for instance, you are great in branding or webdesign you could provide this information. I am a webdesigner with 5 years of experience and might help with usability or design questions.
22. An important thing on Sparks & Badges is also your experience. Every time you create an idea or others like or reward it, you gain XP-Points.
23. These XP Points help you to unlock specific badges, but also to get choosen for specific challenges and simply enhance the chance to your ideas get valued by others.
24. Another cool thing is, that you can always modify, delete or change the privacy of a idea you created. So you always stay in control.
