Saint Helena was born in the 3rd century and converted to Christianity after her husband divorced her. She later became the mother of the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great. In her later years, Saint Helena led a journey to the Holy Land and discovered the True Cross, the cross upon which Jesus was crucified. She performed one of the first recorded miracles by healing a sick woman with the True Cross. Saint Helena died at the age of 80, satisfied with her life's work of spreading Christianity.
