8. 2.THE CAUSE AND EFFECT CHART:
Arrangements of facts and ideas for expressing the
relationship between two systems or between rights and
responsibilities or between a complex of conditions and
change or conflict.
9. 3.THE CHAIN CHART:
A circular or semicircular arrangement of facts and
ideas for expression.
a) TRANSITIONS:
Transition from raw materials to finished products.
b) CYCLES:
Cycles such as citric acid cycle.
12. 4.PULL CHART:
It consists of written messages which are hidden by
strips of thick paper. The message can be shown to the
viewer one after another by pulling out the concealing
strips.
13. 5.FLOWCHART:
Diagrams used to show organizational elements
or administrative or functional relationships. Boxes
connected with lines show levels of lines of
authority.
14. 6.TABULATION CHART:
It shows the schedule of an activity or of an
individual(eg),the timetable of a class.A tabulation
chart should be 50x75cm or more in size and
captioned in bold letters.
15. PREPARATION OF CHARTS
The chart should be of standard size 90x60cm or 70x50cm.
The size of letters for captions and labels should be 2-3cm and the
line thickness should be 2-3mm.
Every detail depicted should be visible to everyone in the class.
Display material should be contrasted with a background.
Flat pictures and other material should be enlarged before placing
on the chart.
16. One chart should display information about one
specific area in a subject.
It shoul be neat and tidy.
The chart should be strong enough to stand for other
rough use.

17. USING CHARTS EFFECTIVELY
Every detail depicted should be visible to everyone.
It should not contain too many details.
It should possess neat appearance.
Make sure there is provision to hang the chart.
Use pointer to point specific details.
Charts can be stored carefully for future use.
