Automotive Apps are all the rage - a study of Automaker's Smartphone Apps on the German App Stores sheds some light on operating systems, customer taste, growth of new Apps released and categories that Automotive companies like Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen, Audi and others focus on. It becomes evident that in 2013 the growth of previous years came to a halt and that development focused on categories such as “Entertainment & Lifestyle” and “Navigation & Travel”.
