4. Services by Population
• The services provided by Goodwill are very helpful
to different population groups;
• Immigrants- Goodwill provides educational literacy
programs and housing assistance for this group. Also the
finance education program is absolutely essential for
immigrants because it addresses how to efficiently manage
and reduce debt both for individuals and families who are
not familiar with the system here in the USA , this could
help prevent great financial problems for these individuals
in the future.

• Criminal Background- There are many services that can
help people with individual background transition into
society; medical rehabilitation where people relearn work
skills and get prepared for living by themselves, there is
also housing and clothing assistance provided by Goodwill
then resources to help individuals interested in becoming
entrepreneurs.
• The Disabled- The services provided also includes housing
assistance for the disabled, Goodwill also helps the
disabled with reduced cost of housing, and could assists
with monthly payments when necessary.

• Seniors- Goodwill also helps support seniors in different ways
for example with providing housing assistance and then access
to community partners like community block clubs which
provide security for the senior’ neighborhood, Goodwill also
helps with clothing assistance, then medical resources that
helps properly equip people for independent living.
• Veterans and Military Families- Services provided for this
population includes; relearning work skills(Medical
rehabilitation), there is also career planning, then after school
care provided for the children, and literacy programs.

• Youth- This particular group is also taken care of by
goodwill through the career planning resources, and the
literacy program that could help educate youths, then there
is after school programs and emergency school clothing
provided for the youth.
