Group work - what would you badge? Some
points to think about:
• Choose an area that’s relevant to your students that lends itself
to awarding open badges
• How could badges motivate your students?
• How would badges be useful for verification?
• Describe the workflow
• What rules might people have to meet to earn a badge?
Task:
Choose a badge that the group agrees is a great idea then go to
Openbadges.me and design and publish the badge.

• If you don’t want to provide an email address, use
steve.sidaway@myknowledgemap.com - don’t select “have a play” because you
won’t be able to publish your badges!

Notas del editor Workflow for the API to issue automatically without intervention RMA sends information about all of the activities within RMA to the activity service. The users have already defined the qualifying activities to be tracked and defined the RULES when an activity merits a badge or any other digital reward e.g. message, pdf certificate The Rules engine uses the definitions to work out based on the activities when and who to issue badges and the reasons why. Out go the reward out to the system being used. Built for Upbete and we wanted to make this available to everyone
