accomplish?
The 1-day interactive whiteboard (IWB) training will
offer preservice math teachers the opportunity to learn
IWB basics while improving the quantity and quality of
their experiences with IWBs.
What changes need to
occur?
KSU math methods students' preparedness to teach
using IWBs needs to improve.

students had used IWBs 0-2 times. Over half felt
unprepared or very unprepared to teach using IWBs.
Several expressed interest in learning more about IWBs.
Why are they
participating?

helping them and what doesn't, and whether or not they
have suggestions for what to cover.
How will summative
evaluations occur?
Students may undergo a quick task evaluation, such as
(a) connect the IWB (b) insert a grid and draw a line (c)...
A survey will be given assessing perceived preparedness.
