Marketing your patient portal to patients has become more important with the addition of a new Meaningful Use Replacement measure.
In 2014, this Meaningful Use Stage 1 core measure of ‘timely electronic access to health information’ will be replaced with a new measure which requires 50% of a provider’s patients to have the ability to view online, download and transfer information within 4 days of being available to the provider. The new measure also requires that a provider ensures that 5% their patients have access to their health information online successfully.
This slideshare will share useful tips of how to market and educate patients on your patient portal. For more information of patient portals check out one of the below resources.
