Twenty years after Rio 92, Brazil is hosting the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20, to be held in Rio de Janeiro in june 2012.
The Conference themes are:
• Green Economy within the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication; and
• Institucional framework for sustainable development
The National Organizing Committee is engaging private and public institution by allowing them to associate the Conference.
Potential partners of the Rio+20 Conference must not only have but provide evidence of commitment to Sustainable Development and poverty eradication in their social corporate responsibility initiatives and similar activities, including the life cycle of its products and services as well as in the choice of its suppliers and service providers.

Rio+20 Organization
The National Organizing Committee for the United Nations Conference
on Sustainable Development was created as an executive body linked to
the Ministry of External Relations tasked with planning and holding the
Rio+20 Conference.
Chaired by a National Secretary, who discharges his duties leading his
team in the tasks of planning, implementation and supervision of all
logistics and management initiatives and measures.

• Right to use the Official Partner logo in communications of the official
partner, once the pieces have been approved by the National
Organizing Committee;
• Applying the Official Partner logo in printed communications such as
welcome packages, participant guides, maps, and the like; in electronic
media such as website and social networks to be created by the
National Organizing Committee, as well as in visual communication
pieces such as banners, outdoor advertisements and the like at the
various venues (with the exception of the United Nations perimeter), in
accordance with an aspect ratio of 1;

• Integrated communications between the press offices of the official
partner with the Rio+20 National Organizing Committee and exclusive
press conference for the launch of the partnership;
• Allocation of special area at the Riocentro Media Centre (in
negotiation with the UN);
• Broadcasting of Official Partner institutional video of up to 1.5
minutes on the Rio+20 official transport system and the Conference
venues if applicable.

• Exclusive officer assigned to support the Official Partner during the
whole event;
• Award of special accreditation for travel and private vehicle parking
within the Conference perimeter (use of the area being currently
negotiated as the Riocentro Convention Centre is in the UN perimeter);

airports of the city (Galeão and Santos Dumont);
• Bookings of up to two executive suites at a Barra da Tijuca hotel and
two rooms in a Zona Sul hotel for the executive directors of the Official

Venues for Official Partner to host private events
• Complimentary VIP box for the exclusive use of the Official Partner
during the period of the Conference, at the Barra Arena;
• Space to hold a cocktail or similar event in area of civil society
concentration at the Barra Arena;
• Venue to hold lectures, seminars, concerts or shows with capacity of
up to 2 thousand seats, with coffee break foyer, VIP area, box and
press room on one of the days of the Conference for a period of up to
six hours in the area of the Rio de Janeiro Modern Art Museum;
• Space of up to 500m2 to set up a stand aimed at the civil society at
the Motor Race Track and in the area assigned for countries and private
sector at the Athletic Park.

• VIP seats reserved at opening and closing sessions of the Official
Plenary Session of the Conference for up to two representatives of the
Official Partner with access to the VIP lounge at the official event venue
(currently being negotiated with the UN);

• Invitations to the official cocktail for eight representatives of the
Official Partner.

created by the National Organizing Committee, as well as in visual
communication pieces such as banners, outdoor advertisements and
the like at the various venues (except in the UN perimeter), using an
aspect ratio of 1.2;
• Broadcast of the institutional Official Supporter video of up to 45
seconds in the Rio+20 official transport system and at the Conference
venues if applicable.

• Accreditation for a pick-up/drop-off vehicle (use of area currently
under negotiation as the Riocentro Convention Centre is a UN perimeter
area);
Space for Official Supporter to hold private events:
• Space to host lectures, seminars, concerts or shows with up to 2,000
seats with coffee break foyer, VIP area, box and press room, on one of
the days of the Conference for a period of up to two hours in the Rio de
Janeiro Modern Art Museum area;
• Space to set up a stand with up to 150m2 in the venue aimed at the
