2. SUBJECT INTRODUCTION
SYNOPSIS
This course surveys the principles and techniques of quantitative and qualitative
of research, that applied to almost all fields. Both primary and secondary
research methods are covered. Survey methods are emphasized. This course
will cover the following from: theoretical, application, analysis/case study. For
this course BAEB601, quantitative research is to be conducted using spss.

INTRODUCTION
This course emphasizes the process of designing, conducting, analyzing,
interpreting, and applying of marketing research as a means of support for
making decisions and providing solutions.
This course is compulsory to all KLMU student before conducting their Project.
This course is to fulfil the requirement of MQA and KLMU.
Short semester, this course is going to be conducted within 3 months.
For Research Methodology course, there are FIVE important chapters to focus
such as :
Chapter 1: Introduction
Chapter 2: Literature Review
Chapter 3: Research Methodology
Chapter 4: Data Analysis & Result
Chapter 5: Conclusion & Recommendations
All chapters to be completed by13 – 17 June until 25-29 July (7 weeks)

Explain what a research design is.
List the kinds of demographic and socioeconomic characteristics that interest
marketers.
Identify the main sources of response error
Identify the methods of data collection
Conduct your own research at degree level of study
Make hypotheses, identify problem statements, research questions, research
designs, formats in research.
