3. Mission Statement
The McNeese Multicultural Center serves as the
“campus living room for International and American
students.” The center was established with the ideal of
becoming a place on campus where people of all
nationalities could come together and learn from
each other.
4. Goals of the Office
• To demonstrate McNeese State University
commitment to international and cultural
perspectives.
• To promote interaction between foreign and
domestic students.
• To foster an environment that creates integrated,
knowledgeable, and culturally values to our foreign
and domestic students.
5. Services Offered
• We serve as an “Living Room on Campus.”
• We provide a safe and relaxed atmosphere.
• We offer a meeting room for student groups
• We offer access to computers and wireless network.
• We have a Bulletin board for posting information
about upcoming events.
6. Services Offered Continued…
• We offer advice and expertise to organizations on
how to host activities on campus.
• We offer easy access to Student Government
Association Office and other campus leaders.
• We co-host and collaborate with various campus
groups to provide culturally significant events for the
campus community.
