The format presented for the shipping bill are as given below :-

Documentation:-
Bill of lading :- is a control between the owner of the goods and the carrier . for vessel
,there are two types :staright bill of lading which is non negotiable and a negotiable or
shipper’s order bill of lading.latter it can be bought ,sold or traded while goods are in
transit.
Commercial invoice:-is a bill for the goods from seller to the buyer . these invoice are
often used by government to determine the value of goods when assessing customs
duties.
Certificate of origin :-is a documents that is required in certain nations.it is signed
statement as to the origin of the export item. Certificate of origin are usually signed
through a semi official organization such as a local chamber of commerce.
Inspection certificate ;-is required by some purchases and countries in order to attest to
the specification of the good shipped.
Dock receipt:- and a warehouse receipt are used to transfer accountability when the
export item is moved by the domestic carriers to the port
Packing list:-
An insurance certificate is used to assure the consignee that insurance will cover the loss
of or damage to the cargo during transit.
5. AFTER THE IGM DUTY DELIVERED THE UNLOADING TAKE PLACE UNDER THE SUPERVISOR OF
PREVENTIVE OFFICER OF CUSTOMS.THE PREVENTIVE OFFICER ARE AUTHORIZED TO BOARD THE
VESSEL/AIRCRAFT TO TAKE SUITABLE DECLARATION,CREW PROPERTY LIST ETC. AND TO CHECK
WHETHER THERE ARE ANY GOODS WHICH ARE NOT DECLARED FOR UNLOADING AT A
PATICULAR CUSTOMS STATION IN THE IGM WITH INTENTION TO SMUGGLE THEM WITHOUT
FOLLOWING THE PRESCRIBED FORMALITIES AND PAYMENT OF DUTIES.
CUSTOMS CLEARANCE OF CARGO:-
BEFORE ANY GOODS IMPORTED CAN BE CLEARED BY FOR HOMECONSUMPTION OR
WAREHOUSING FOR SUBSEQUENT CUSTOMS CLEARANCE.
