NP large buffer tanks are made in the USA of high-performance
aluminum, a potable water safe EPDM liner and R-18 insulation (which can
be upgraded to R-30 if needed). StorMaxxTM
NP large buffer tanks are avail-
able in capacities from 100G to 5000G and ship only 22” wide for easy on-site
manuvering.

Are Your Storage Tanks Made In The USA?
Yes, some models of our solar storage tanks, including all of our StorMaxx NP tanks, are made in the USA.
How Do I Know Which Storage Tank Will Be Best For Me?
We recommend calling and speaking to one of solar storage tank specialists who can assist you in determing which solar storage tank is best for
your specific needs, system type and installation location.
What Size (capacity) Tank Is Right For Me?
Our engineering services team can work with you on larger jobs to ensure that you get the right capacity tank. However, for residential domestic
hot water systems, a safe rule of thumb is that your tank should hold 20 gallons of hot water per person in your home. For instance, if you have 3
or 3 people in your home, you would want an 80G tank. If there are 2 people, a 40G or 50G tank would be fine.
How Are These Tanks Different From Regular Hot Water Tanks?
Our StorMaxx tanks are specifically designed for yse with solar thermal systems. For most, this means that include 1 or 2 internal coil heat ex-
changers which transfer the heat from your solar collectors to the water stored in the tank.
Are There Any Backup Heaters For These Tanks?
Many of our StorMaxx have the option to add an electric, natural gas or propane backup heating element to provide hot water when the solar
compnent is not working (at night or during extended cloudy periods).
How Long Is The Warranty?
StorMaxx tanks have a standard 10 year warranty.
Can I Install The System Myself?
We recommend having an installer assist you with the installation if you have previously not installed a solar hot water tank.
What Is The Production Lead Time Of These Kits?
Depending on manufacturing runs, a lead time of 2-3 weeks is common for most of our solar hot water tanks.
