2. What is Scratch?
• A programming language developed by the
Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media
Lab.
• Uses easy coding blocks to create interactive
projects, stories, animations, art and games and
share it online.
• Helps young people to learn team work,
organizational skills, creative and logical thinking.
• Improves self-confidence and self-esteem with
improved skills in Scratch projects.
3. Getting Started
• Download Scratch from:

• Install and launch Scratch on your
computer.
• Now You are ready to start your own
project or download a project from
Scratch.
• You can save your project on your
computer or on your Scratch Account.
