1. SWAMI.RAJARISHISHIVA’S Divine village from

My Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
Greetings Love and Peace to you. May God and Guru bless you with
prosperity, health, peace, love and God realization, as well!
Our Ashram – the hearth and home of Sri Guruji, Swami Rajarishi
shiva – is indeed an oasis to all its residents and visitors who are
drawn back over and over, to those who find inspiration in his yogic
science of healing. Divine village will be a place of rejuvenation of
spirit for world-weary people whose burdens are heavy and real,
whose resolve feels weakened by life in an increasingly hostile, scary
and stressful environment. In times like these, it is all the more
important to be available to people. To offer the sustenance they
seek so they can in turn serve their families and communities, it is the
role of spiritual places to be, to tend, to fill, and uphold the human
spirit in times of difficulty so that our species continues to not only
survive another rough time, but manages to evolve and reinvent itself
to be more than it is.
Weekend programs, Saturday Day-trips, Tours, Teacher Training
Programs, Personal Retreats, Resident opportunities, Guest Stays,
Scripture Classes, weekly Satsang, and most of all,our Fellowship
are all examples of how divine village currently will serve as a
spiritual oasis to all who come and to each other. Each year we
touch so many lives that in turn touch so many more lives. All can
breath the essence of spiritual air and share that Peace with others
they come in contact with. The subtle (and sometimes not so subtle)
changes in a person who has been moved by spiritual awakening are
noted by friends and family. They say “Wow, that retreat really was
great for you. Where did you go? Maybe I should go, too. It did you
such good.” This is the way a divine village will work. .
An oasis offers its gifts and remains while the travellers move on.

2. The sun will still be hot and the wind may still pelt them with sand, but
now they have filled their canteens and are strong having rested in
the shade of the palm trees. Surviving the journey is now possible, It
is so in life. When everything is so hard, people losing their jobs,
homes and what they thought were their identities, they begin to
seek. They are looking for the oasis of Truth and Understanding.
Something that helps them navigate the wilderness and come out not
merely having survived, but transformed.
divine village provides many opportunities for people of all creeds to
come and sink as deeply as they care to, in whatever way they care
to and in harmony with other people who may do it differently. This
too is an example of an oasis. In the desert all are welcome at the
drinking places. They are not owned by any one person. They are a
gift from God. Sacred. Open to all.
. Our Ashram & divine village is made up of energy – time, love,
thought, word and deed . To continue to offer service as an oasis to
all who seek to taste in the teachings of Sri Gurudev rajarishi shiva at
yogic science of healing, healthy donations of all of these are needed.
We need your help with Operating expenses and project funding
schedules must be met so that we may continue to serve those who
come here.
The goal is to raise much needed funds for the following areas:
• The General Fund
• Resident Building Project
• Building Fund
• Archives Special Projects
• Schools & hospital schemes
General Fund
The General Fund keeps the Ashram going, paying the day-to-day
bills that include food, gas, wages, phones, utilities, even flowers for
pujas and Prasad at satsang come from this fund. Giving to replenish
this fund effects virtually every area of the Ashram.
Resident Building

3. We have a new 30-unit residential building that will come into service
in spring 2010. It is very exciting to be able to offer more space for
people who want to come and experience Yoga & yogic science of
healing firsthand. We will need to finance the installation of the
parking lot plus hooking up the plumbing and electric to the main
Ashram grid and installing exterior lighting.
Building Fund
The Building Fund is just that; it covers expenses that must be outlaid
for new construction and for building improvement. The Building
Fund as will be used towards the costs of the new resident building
that are not included in the contract. We need to replenish this fund
to help complete the current project and to bring new building projects
online.
Your contributions make a difference
We welcome your donations in the form of educational materials – or
funds where your valuable donation go a very long way. Donations go
directly to support these women and children in need in Guruji’s H.Q,
the small village of Awerahalli in Bangalore. Currently a Gurukul and
an “AYURYOGAM”,ayurvedic charitable chikitshalaya is on plan.
What Your Support Does: It has been an exciting year at the IIYS!
Our trainings, Yoga workshops, and other programs have been filled
to capacity in recent months. We are using every square inch of
available space to comfortably accommodate our guests and to
present the teachings of Guruji and our lineage of masters in a setting
that is highly conducive to gaining a deeper understanding of yoga
practice and the Self.
To enable the IIYS to continue to reach as many people as possible
in the coming year, we have some urgent maintenance and
infrastructure needs that we must address in divine village such as:

• The “ Sarva Dharma Mandir” - a meditation & yoga hall for
100 people
• Semi-private accommodations for 100 more guests
• Time-shared homes for those who wish to build on our property

number of guests.

Phase II: SANGAMAM & SNEHA MANE
The second project identified for the guruji Fund is a private home for
widows and small children. The large home would also have
adjoining property where the blended families of women and children
could grow their own vegetables and tend their own livestock,
providing them with food and self sufficiency. The Trustees of the
guruji’s Living Legacy are working with the IIYS to locate such a
property next to Divine village for these deserving women and
children. To establish “Sarva dharma kalachar”.
Sangamam will accommodate commune living system, which
encourages Universal oneness’, to break the barrier of racism and
give them eternal love, peace, harmony,& happiness by forming a
“vasudevakudumbakam”, to establish Universal brother hood.
Snehamane will be a place for Rehabilitation, to transform in humans
to humans to Deva tattwa, ie.. to elevate them to human first, and
then make them to achieve the God consciousness.
Archives Project
There are several exciting and important Archives projects on the
horizon including some very overdue transfer and storage processes
as well as some new yoga film & DVD productions. The vast
repository of audio and video tapes hold the body of the Teachings
of Sri sri Swami raja rishi shiva. It is our duty as his sangha to
preserve, protect and make available the teachings for all who are
interested in learning about them. A vast amount of work has been
done toward this end, however a master plan that incorporates all of

5. the materials, the equipment systems, storage, display and retrieval
needs will guide the work in the future. A general estimate of what is

Divine village - Schools Scholarship Fund
For 2 to 3 years IIYS have instilled hundreds of students with the
valuable life lessons offered from the Yogic philosophy. Sri raja rishi
shiva belief that children should be allowed to blossom into their own
unique being in an environment dedicated to their spiritual
development is paired up with comprehensive curricula and
interactive projects that range from performing the yoga & sadanas
to understanding world cultures through interfaith studies at IIYS.
The school will uses donated funds to assist with tuition so that any
student interested in being at Sri Guruji's school can attend
regardless of financial situation. Will you help an Angel?
It has always been Sri Guruji’s wish for us to visit divine village as
much as possible to receive the blessings from this special place.

Akshaya anna dhaan & Bikshaandehi
The scheme Akshaya anna dhan”,will be providing one time
free food initially,say during mid-day,afternoon,and will be
served to the poor school children & the down trodden people
who suffer in the society due to un emlployment,poverty,and
various other factors.Gradually our team karunakaram”, &
our dharmasenas”,will counsel them to attach to our on going
training programmes which will help them to secure a job
security & would be self employed in our various schemes.
Bikshaan dehi:

6. As per this scheme Bikshaandehi”,our Karunakaram team,as
well as team dharmasena’s will be working under this scheme
for motivating the public as a minimum commitment of Rs.1/-
per day per person,(Rupees one only) these offerings which is
collected from the general public by real biksha,will be directly
helpful for providing one time full meals for the down trodden
and the poor people who suffer from poverty.It would be
directly helping atleast 10,000 poor people in a day.
Brindavanam:
An individual person, retired people, couples, Nri’s and anyone
can buy a property for residing permanently, semi permanent
basis, or lease the same for public use during their absence.
All infrastructures, building materials, will consist of waste
materi-als, renewable, reusable, recyclable, sustainable,
sources will used for the construction. These villa’s and
cottages are promoted for self employment schemes, which will
work for the benefit of the “self help group”, which will be
formed as a society and will work as a committee to benefit
and share the income derived, for the upliftment of social
security, economical sufficiency, self employment, and give an
uplift for the down trodden, poor, and the bpl people.
Therefore assuring a poverty free nation, and develop self
sufficiency to meet the task. It would be a divine experience for
those who buy property and settle in this “divine villages”.
They can do any seva, volunteer, spiritual work, help, counsel,
motivate, heal, nurse, care, and show love to each other to live
as “universal family”, to ensure “vasudeva kudumbakam”.
Divine constitutional policy:
All these schemes are to be operated inside our “Divine
villages”, schemes to benefit the society of our self help group
who will be entitled to form a charitable trust or society. These
self help groups shall work for various self employment
schemes like Brindavanam, Akshaya anna daan scheme,
Sneha mane, sangamam, other free education and hospital
schemes too.
There shall be no commercialization, or dealing of any
business as the schemes are projected to benefit the down

7. trodden, the poor, and the weak society to strengthen
them on all aspects of free education, free hospital
services, Housing schemes, and to ensure 100% literacy,
self employment, social security, women empowerment,
etc… Mainly the down trodden would be given top priority
to benefit a lot.
Self help group: “ANTHA RASHTIYA SUYA SEVA KENDRA”
Our committed, selfless group “Dharmasena’s, & karunakara’s
will form the “SELF HELP GROUP”, which will be named as
“ANTHA RASHTRIYA SUYA SEVA KENDRA”, which will have a
honorary president, honorary vice presidents, honorary
general secretary, joint secretaries, treasurers, working
committee members and many more volunteers who will
jointly work and act as a society for the welfare of down
trodden and the bpl poor people. Elections will be conducted
once in every two years. Nobody will be entitled to be
empowered for any reasons getting into commercialization or
working for selfish background. General body meeting will be
conducted once in two months. All board members are
selected on merit, no third party influence or recommendation
shall be valued or accepted. All decisions, major legal issues,
and the working committee formation shall be approved by the
Chairman.
Note: The above mentioned titled schemes like Brindavanam,
akshaya anna daan, bikshaandehi, Dharmasena,
karunakaram, Free education scheme, free hospital schemes,
etc…will be operated by the self help group,
