Advocated for teachers by being a member of the Principal Advisory Committee,
Superintendent’s Focus Group and serving as a union representative.
Instituted specific practices within special education department: culled student evaluation
data from different sources to analogize; wrote handbook for new special education teachers
to the school; composed various forms, letters, and hand-outs for general use; and provided
additional testing to students in areas that were not previously evaluated.
