Purpose of Pop Music?
It’s generally believed that Pop music is a genre which is commercially
recorded and has to desires to have a mass audience appeal. It has to be
a pleasure to listen to.

Michael Jackson: Nicknamed the “King of Pop” Michael Jackson popularized a
number of complicated dance techniques such as the ‘robot’ and the ‘moonwalk’
which attracted mass audiences and is a convention of pop music. It’s estimated
that he earned about $750 million in his lifetime and he and both Madonna helped
to make MTV as they helped give rise to pop stars such as themselves.
