3. Another technical method I learnt while
completing the product is how to use
new software on the computer. Such as
power-director, this is very important
software kit, it is where I learnt to edit all
my shots and actually create the final
product. Learning how to trim or cut
different scenes having this technical
development allowed my film to flow in
the best way possible. Power-director
also allowed me to learn how to export a
music file and learn how to transfer the
music and right pace and speed to link
into the film. All this helped me become
more technically developed, when
completing further films.

4. My technical development didn't just start to grow when physically editing but also
with the process of the final completion. By creating an account for Blogger, I was
able to create different pages based on the journey from the first idea to the last.
Creating planning page which took the very first location, the first characters
thought of the storyline and see how the ideas developed. Another page for
audience codes and conventions included in your film, as well as the final
evaluation of our film. Blogger helped me to learn to add links, photo's to add
different advices such as slide-share and to upload video's. Now I feel confident in
all these aspects, as well I know how to analyze and detail my progress. My blog.

5. By the end of the brief we had two
complete final openings we
chose the opening we felt
added all the right techniques
that were required. By doing so
much filming I now feel really
confident using the video
camera and tripod. I was able to
create shots that I felt were at a
high standard, however we did
sometimes face difficulties such
as the more low and high
angles the image could become
blurred. After much practice we
learnt what angle suited the
video camera with the best
picture, sorting out technical
difficulties. Are first shooting we
were faced with the dilemma
that the camera was not fully
charged which halted the first
filming, second time round we
made sure we were prepared

6. Also considering the effect that lighting has, as it was a social realism film used
mostly all natural lighting for outside, however shots within the flat was much darker.
The contrast from outdoor natural light to indoor which is much darker gave it a
realistic light, as well as mirroring the mood and tone of the film.
The lighting was very easily created as we needed the natural effect however filming
outside became difficult when we need the dialogue to spoken in a loud outside
environment. This was a problem faced very bad first time filming, however we used
a micro phone that we got the character to speak into. This was very effective as it
heightened the characters voice, which is very important as the tone of voice portrays
the characters personality.
