4. Dear Nan,
We are having a great a holiday here on the Gold Coast. Yesterday we went to the Movie World.
When we got up in the morning, it looked like rain. After a while the cloud disappeared. And it
became a sunny day. We then decided to go to the Movie World.
The first ride I went on was Lethal Weapon. Next I saw the Police Academy show. After that I had

6. After inventing dynamite, Swedish-born Alfred Nobel became a very rich man. However, he
foresaw its universally destructive power is too late. Nobel preferred not to be remembered as the
inventor of dynamite, so in 1895, just two weeks before his death, he created a fund to be used for
