2. Habitat
Orcas live in the oceans but most of them live in icy
waters. You can also find orcas in seas all over. They
clearly prefer higher latitudes and coastal areas over
pelagic environments.
3. Diet
Orcas eat seabirds, seals, sea lions, smaller
dolphins, fish, squid, penguin and they also eat
different kinds of whales. They do not eat humans.
Orcas hunt varied prey. Fish eating Orcas prey on
around 30 species of fish, particular
salmon, herring, and tuna.

The Orca has a black dorsal fin, a little blow hole, a
round melon, a small mouth, 2 black eyes, 2
flippers, and a beautiful flukes. Did you know that
Orcas are part of a dolphin family but the Orca is just
bigger and it has a rounder head.
