2. Now You See Me is a 2013
French/American caper thriller. It is
set in France and America.

3. The movie starts off having several camera shots of the main character. This
instantly tell the audience that he is the vocal point of the movie. Also there is
a head and shoulder shot of the man reinforcing the fact he is the main
character. The camera then pans around him which further puts more
attention to him. Also he is doing tricks with playing cards showing that the
movie may be about “magic”. The sound track in the background is eerie and
mysterious as if it is building up to something. Moreover there is a over the
shoulder shot of him looking into the mirror which may show his willingness
to perfect his tricks. However his eyes are closed meaning he doesn’t see what
he is doing but he may do this to imagine a audience in front of him. His long
black coat may signify his power or authority towards other people. Also it
could mean mysterious and the unknown. Furthermore throughout the
opening scene a voice is speaking over, which the audience may presume
would be him. Moreover the camera cuts to different angles to show as if
there's a audience all around him. Also place he is in seems deserted and this
may mean he is very to himself which is unusual for a magician. Also during
the end he does the trick and opens his eyes towards the mirror and smiles to
show a sign of approval.
