What is Communication?(From an 8 year old perspective) Communication
Definition of Communication Communication is defined as a process by which individuals assign and convey meaning in an attempt to create shared understanding. This process requires a vast collection of skills in intrapersonal and interpersonal processing, listening, observing, speaking, questioning, analyzing and evaluating (Banks, 2011).

The Communication Process Receiver send feedback Decoding (Receiver interprets the message) Noise Language Technical Difficulties Channel Encoding (Sender transmits the message) Sender  (formulates the message)
Classroom Design Students with: Learning styles Learning Disabilities Cultural background
Learning Styles Visual Auditory Kinesthetic Students depend on there senses to process the information imparted during the learning process. Most students tend to use one of their senses more than the others.

  • 14. Tasks Discussion Questions: Based on the information embedded in this presentation, what changes can be made to your classroom which will make it reflects as the “ideal classroom”. What factors hinder the process of knowing your students and how can this be eliminated? Based on the current economic status and the effect it has on learning, Is it possible to implement activities to achieve the “ideal classroom?” Explain Project Provide a definition of communication in the learning process be sure to incorporate the definition provided by the 8 year old student. Base on the information received you are required to design a lesson plan depicting the ideal classroom and teach it to the class.
