Poetry is a creative form of writing in which
many authors express their feelings and ideas

                           Exploring Poetry
by the use of distinctive style and rhythm

Assignment: Today you are going to work in groups of four
to create a podcast in order to analyze and interpret a
poem. Each person in the group will have a specific role and
assignment to contribute to the final podcast.

                                              Roles:

The Artist: Create a drawing or collage using paper and
pencil or the drawing tools on your computer that depicts
the idea or overall theme of the poem.

The Musician: Using Gargageband, find or compose a song
or jingle that expresses the mood of the poem.

The Writer: Create a Wordle using words that express
the feelings, theme and style of the poem.

The Researcher: Use the internet to research the
author, the purpose and the style of the poem.

                                              The Product:

Create a podcast in Garageband, in which you incorporate all
of your assignments to help others understand the Theme
and Author’s purpose of writing this poem.
