3. Google provides each Gmail user a free 15 GB of storage on its
servers. But it is shared pool of storage, which is shared across
your Gmail, Google Drive and Google Photos.
If you use Google Apps at work or school, you have at least 30 GB
of storage.

4. You can see the overall storage view of your account Google’s
Drive storage website.
It will ask for your account credentials. After entering the
credentials, you will find the overview of storage.

8. Now click on total storage circle. This will show exactly how much space is taken
each Gmail, Google Drive and Google Photos.

9. Gmail counts the spaces for all the messages and attachments in your
mail. It includes your Spam and Trash folders also.
Drive counts the spaces for all the files you’ve stored in your drive. E.g.
PDFs, Images and videos.
Google Photos counts the spaces for all the photos you upload, if you
choose ‘Original’ in your google Photos upload settings.

11. If you’ve made with Google Docs, Sheets, Presentations, Drawings and
Slides, it won’t count toward your storage. If anyone shared the files
with you, it’ll not count for your storage.
