What is wine tourism ?
A wide range of experiences built around tourist visitation to wineries
and wine regions, including:
• Wine tasting
• Wine and food
• The enjoyment of regional environs
• Day trip or longer term recreation
• The experience of a range of companion/complementary cultural,
nature based and lifestyle activities available in wine regions
Wine tourism has been growing in various regions around the world
for a variety of reasons. A predominant one is a government or
regional strategy to promote or increase wine tourism for the
improved economic returns it provides.
3. WHY THIS SUBJECT?
- I am not fond of alcohol , but living in Bordeaux
for six month makes me realize how big wine
tourism is in this area.
- So it have stimulated my curiosity, and i want to
know more about this “industry”.
- And this is also the subject of my memoire.
4. PUBLIC
- People who wants to discover some information about wine tourism
- People who wants to visit the vineyards where wine is made and
experience the country lifestyle and culture of the wine regions..
- Wine lovers who visit wine regions frequently as an integral part of a
trip
