LORD BYRON

22nd January 1788 – 19th April 1824
BIOGRAPHY


     He is John Byron and Catherine Gordon’s son.
 He was born on 22 January in lodgings at Holles Street
                          in London.
 He lives his childhood in Aberdeenshire with his mother.
       He becomes the 6th Lord Byron when he is 10.
       He doesn’t walk well because he has a limp.
 Lord Byron first goes to Aberdeen Grammar School and
   also to University, the Trinity College in Cambridge.
He marries Anne Isabelle Byron, but he has a
 lot of lovers.
He has three daughters; Ada, Allegra &
 Elizabeth
He writes poetry. He is a Romantic Poet.
He is extravagant, tormented, exaggerated,
 posed and emotional.
He travels to Portugal, Spain, Malta, Greece..
He also lives abroad for some time : Italy,
 Greece,..
He dies on 19th AprIl 1824
She Walks In Beauty like the
night a poem by Lord Byron
       She walks in beauty, like the night
       Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
       And all that's best of dark and bright
          Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
        Thus mellowed to that tender light
        Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
       One shade the more, one ray the less,
       Had half impaired the nameless grace
        Which waves in every raven tress,
         Or softly lightens o'er her face;
       Where thoughts serenely sweet express
      How pure, how dear their dwelling place.
       And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
           So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
      The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
        But tell of days in goodness spent,
           A mind at peace with all below,
          A heart whose love is innocent!

                      Camina bella, como la noche
                De climas despejados y de cielos estrellados,
                Y todo lo mejor de la oscuridad y de la luz
                 Resplandece en su aspecto y en sus ojos,
                     Enriquecida así por esa tierna luz
                      Que el cielo niega al vulgar día.
                 Una sombra de más, un rayo de menos,
                  Hubieran mermado la gracia inefable
             Que se agita en cada trenza suya de negro brillo,
                     O ilumina suavemente su rostro,
                   Donde dulces pensamientos expresan
                Cuán pura, cuán adorable es su morada.
                    Y en esa mejilla, y sobre esa frente,
           Son tan suaves, tan tranquilas, y a la vez elocuentes,
            Las sonrisas que vencen, los matices que iluminan
                  Y hablan de días vividos con felicidad.
                        Una mente en paz con todo,
                      ¡Un corazón con inocente amor!
