• We asked 30 members
of the public what
gender they were to
see which was more
interested in drama
films. Our results show
males were more
interested in drama
films as 17 males
answered whereas
only 13 females did.
2. WHAT AGE CATEGORY DO YOU FIT
INTO?

• The results show that out of
the 30 people that
answered most of them fit
into the age category ’1621’ This shows drama films
are popular with the 16-21
category and are least
popular with 12-15
category. Our target
audience is age 12-30.
These results help show that
young adults are more likely
to watch our film, but it still
appeals to the 21+
categories.
3. WHAT WOULD YOU RATE OUR
SHORT FILM THE HIT? (10-HIGHEST 1LOWEST)

• These results show over 50% of
people thought our short film
was a 7 out of 10, which is
quite a good position on the
scale, showing elements of
our film were enjoyable and
good, but for us not to get 10
some things may have been
disappointing or unnecessary.
One person gave our film a 3
when asked why he said it
wasn’t his sort of film and he
thought the storyline was too
obvious.

• Results show that everyone
thought our film fit the drama
genre. Showing we
understood the drama genre
and were able to incorporate
drama conventions within our
film very well.

• Majority of people said
they thought the
storyline/plot was clear
throughout the film showing
we had created a well
thought out production.
People liked that it was left
on a cliff-hanger as it
insinuated that there may
be a sequel. However
some people thought the
ending in particular wasn’t
clear and that it needed
more thought towards it.

• Results show that after
reading our synopsis 100% of
people thought that our film
had the appropriate type of
credits and that they were
clear and appropriate for
the target audience and
the film itself. They also said
the colours of the credits
went well.

people said the narrative.
People said it has a good plot
and is ‘different to normal
drama films’ as it’s to do with
a hit man and also that it has
a twist. The next highest

beginning, people said they
felt sympathetic for Mrs Jones
and the tension between her
and her husband made the

shows our production is
