This document summarizes a project to teach senior citizens computer and internet skills to access health information online. The project partnered with a senior center to provide an 8-week computer training class onsite. 15 students consistently attended classes that covered basic computer use, email, evaluating health websites, and using specific resources like MedlinePlus. Challenges included temporary internet outages and addressing students with different languages. Evaluations found students learned skills and felt confident finding health information online. The project concluded that bringing educational resources directly to seniors was an effective way to teach internet skills and promote health information literacy.
