20. Barcamp - What!
BarCamp is an international network of user-
generated Free conferences (or
unconferences). They are open, participatory
workshop-events, the content of which is
provided by participants. The first BarCamps
focused on early-stage web applications, and
were related to open sourcetechnologies, social
protocols, and open data formats.
24. Hack Spaces - What?
Hackerspaces can be viewed as open
community labs incorporating elements
of machine shops, workshops and/or
studios where hackers can come
together to share resources and
knowledge to build and make things.
28. Maker Faire - What?
Maker Faire is the premier event for grassroots
innovation. As the World's Largest DIY Festival,
this two-day family friendly Faire has something
for everyone - a showcase of invention,
creativity and resourcefulness and a
celebration of the Maker mindset.
