•When they engage in prepared activities
(reinforcement)
•Then use them in real situation (Training
and application)

•Sorting is important for mathematics as
well as day to day tasks
•They can sort according to shape color;
size or any characteristic
Eg
Junk box
Vegetables
Fruits
flowers
Shapes
• They learn shapes through the materials they
use in their day to day lives
• But you have to give them experiences to
develop the concept
Neighbourhood
To learn what is in the environment
•Who is behind
•Who is in front
•What is on the table
•What is under the table etc
Symmetry
•Helps children to understand mathematical
concepts
Number
•Same type in different pattern
•Different types for same number
•Introducing number with card
•Number
