The Iroquois lived in long houses where extended families resided together in New York and Pennsylvania. They grew the three sisters - corn, beans, and squash - and were also hunters and gatherers. Communication was through different languages as they had no single language, and they had rich spiritual beliefs where dreams and gods played an important role. In their free time, they crafted masks and had a flag.
